There are mud clients for smartphones. IRE's for android is pretty nice, or blowtorch. I heard a rumor that Vadi stays up in the wee hours toiling toward a mini-mudlet for android too, which will be spiffy. Iphone people have something as well I'm sure, but I've probably never heard of it.

There was some app I found for iPads when I was on vacation and needed to check up, and the only device available was Dad's Mac-Obsession. It could possibly work on an iPhone too, I suppose.

It did not work very well, but it did at least connect and let me type.

Just once I want to make a pop culture reference and have you immediately get it. Just ONE TIME.

What did I miss this time?

I think she was making fun of hipsters.

He's not a he.

Edit: Hmph at your silent editing, I say.
Ytran2012-03-24 02:00:38
I don't know what you're talking about.

Why do people play Lusternia on their phones? That's such a bad idea. And for that matter, how? I wasn't aware that you could even get Lusternia to run on a cell phone. And how do you even read the tiny letters as they flicker by?

By using of all the neat automated things like pathfinding, inbuilt aliases, firstaid and stratagems. I have a journal page with useful room numbers. Orgbixes and the snowglobe help move around quickly too.

The IRE android client is good though I find Andromud a bit faster. My phone has a pop out keyboard too, which I love. There's still the dangers of losing reception, lagging out from too much text and walking into lamp posts, but I can talk, walk, quest and kill things.

Anybody have a full list of affs that stop orgbixes, please? Thanks.

Does anyone know if the change to keg-pouring between runed and non-runed also affect cube transfers?
Kiradawea2012-03-26 10:08:07
What's the general price for curio pieces currently?
Ssaliss2012-03-26 10:12:36
It varies a bit. I'd say 30-40k per common and twice that for rares?
Kiradawea2012-03-26 10:19:14
Hrm. Not quite worth it just yet then. I'll probably be saving them until the value increases.

What are the top 5 high level (90+) influencing grounds now?

What are the top 5 high level (90+) influencing grounds now?

Probably the Prison and the Hives. There was some really large stack of Forasaken in Icewynd, didn't check if they were influencable.

I'm not sure beyond that, most of the high end bashing places don't seem to have any intelligent mobs to influence.
Lendren2012-03-27 15:09:38
Even when they do, if they're bashed regularly that tends to trump influencing. An influencer never takes a target away from a basher, but bashers always take them away from influencing. Even if you're already influencing, one hit from a basher always stops you in your tracks. So you can really only influence areas that aren't regularly bashed if you want high-throughput influencing.
Unknown2012-03-27 16:00:02
Aw, I was hoping there'd be some new good areas. Icewynd and aetherspace seem promising but a hassle to get to.
Unknown2012-03-27 17:57:09
Icewynd is really easy to get to. Just find out where the rifts are.
Enyalida2012-03-27 18:09:11
And, since you can't look through rifts, hope that you've got the right one.
Lehki2012-03-27 18:20:06
Currently there's a rift to Icewynd in the middle of the Crystal Meadows.

I have a question for blunt weapon users (esp. bonesmashers, jakari, tahtetso). Are great runes of bleeding worth it? My tahto is already runed with the important stuff (knights/elementals/etc) aside from that.
