Could it be the iced tea effect?
Kiradawea2012-05-18 20:27:33
Ah. I forgot that I drank greentea earlier.

I'm way late, but just to be sure there wasn't added weight you could 'buy' with the new demipower changes right?
So some of the powers for a demigod cost 50 out of the maximum of 80 (with manna) weight is intended?
Been gone a while :/

Those powers would be the ones you get through seals (domoth seals now unlock those powers for demis, although you can only buy one). No normal demi powers cost 50 weight; the most expensive one is secontradeskill, which costs 12.
Ixion2012-05-20 15:18:18
^ thanks, but doesn't answer question. Yes I used a seal power as an example.

They're intended for Ascendants. It was only recently demigods were allowed access to them (they can only have 1).
So yes, it's intentionally that they cost large amounts of weight.
Ixion2012-05-20 15:45:53
Yes.. I get that.. I'd like to know the following though.
I'll rephrase it:
Is it possible to buy extra demi power weight as was suggested during the design process for the changes?

Nope, at least not as far as I've heard.

OK thanks all!

Couple of quick questions for everybody, regarding the recent promotions.
Do these special tonic bottles decay?
Also a few other questions about the Triple Junction Inn prize.
1) I assume the inn has its own shop included.
2) Once this becomes our property, can we furnish it like any other manse with artisan furniture?
3) Can we expand the rooms in it buy buying manse items?
4) Can we buy manse artifacts and dwellers for it.

Turning in kephera corpses to Cyaratalegur has become/became a tedious process (Probably sometime when I wasn't paying attention). I just spent 15 minutes turning in kephera, because if I don't wait until he's done talking, he'll eat my corpses and not give me any gold. The time it takes to turn them in is honestly kinda making me just want to offer them instead, one by one every 4 seconds is just wrong in my opinion.
But as to my question, is there an easier way to turn in? And I just don't know about it? Or is this really what we're stuck with?

Yeah, just hold down "GIVE KEPHERA TO CYARATALEGUR and he'll pay you once it's all done.
He pays you once but he gives you all the gold. He even counts it up for you and says how many you sold to him...
Enyalida2012-05-21 01:28:06
Better get your fill of that before Halli monks come out, as they're almost certainly going to be Kephra aligned, provided the admins are going to continue with the monk-UV connection thing.

Are you sure? I could of sworn he was eating my corpses.. I never got a count either.. guess I'll check it again.

The shop is included, yes. You can make furniture in it, buy manse artifacts for it, etc. It cannot be made into an aethership. You can buy a dweller(s) for it. I don't know about extra rooms - I kind of want to say 'no', but I can't find where I remember the details being laid out (might have just been a convo at Havens). Any additions have to be done via Estarra (artifacts@lusternia.com, I believe), unlike usual manse stuff.
I'll look into the room thing.

Do you really expect Hallifax to wholeheartedly support the kephera, without question, just because they taught some of our people how to fight? I sure don't. :P
