Is it correct that city/commune leaders can keep ministry positions if they already hold them at the time of election, but cannot be appointed to them otherwise?
E.g. Pikachu is power minister of Pokeville and is elected CL, does he/she(/it?) retain power minister?

I'm not aware of any restrictions on appointing CL to minister positions.
Unknown2012-05-25 21:48:55
Correct. You can both keep and also be appointed a ministry position at any time whilst holding an elected seat.

How much quicker can you lock into a module equipped with a buckle diamonut?

No, you cannot appoint yourself to a position-- if you're Champion you can't make yourself a protector, if you're a CL you can't make yourself a Minister, and so on.

That's not what was being asked ;)

Uh, yes it was.
Saying you can be appointed at "any time" in an elected position is incorrect if you are the CL, which is what the question is based around. A CL cannot appoint themselves to a Ministry.

I believe that, if they are in the position at the time of appointing, they keep it. However, they cannot be appointed afterwards. I think it's a case of being grandfathered into it if you're already it.

Seems like that ought to get fixed. Strip them of the position if they become a GM or CL...

GMs have always been able to be appointed to ministries, just they can't give themselves the approval to do so, iirc. CL's just can't, period, once in the position.

See, my idea of fixing it would be to let them appoint themselves...

Why would you want to do that? It's hard enough to find people to fill all the Ministries without booting people once they get elected.
Morshoth2012-05-26 19:18:13
Plus, CL can do everything that the Ministers can, so why not have two people with the power?

Because this just leads to the position being "Vacant" when your organization doesn't want two people with the power.
Glomdoring had a Vacant treasurer for ages, eventually people got the message we weren't looking for one, but still. It'd be better to just be able to flag it.

Where can I find the numbers for the different levels of deep wounds? I could have sworn I'd seen it before, but I've looked everywhere to no avail.
Shedrin2012-05-27 08:09:21
What IG year was Glomdoring as an org opened?
edit: Nvm, found it.

When you have a regulator on your enchantments, does the tattoo to recharge enchantments still work?
Unknown2012-05-30 16:07:41
The tattoo doesn't really do anything, since the regulator keeps the item fully charged.
Daganev2012-05-30 16:24:22
That's what I was afraid of.
I was hoping it might add X charges to the cube itself.
Where would I submit that?
