You're mixing up STAGE PAUSE (which pauses playback of a recording) with BACKSTAGE PAUSE (which does what Lilia said, gives the director a little control over pacing to put dramatic pauses into a performance during the recording).

Why was there a Mother's Day event and no Father's Day event?

Rude question I know, but whats the best artifact to put on a Two handed Hunting/Bashing weapon if the only purpose of the artifact is to stop decay? I'm looking for most value with least cost.

Obiously the 100 credit +5 to stats is the cheapest, but I'll only get half benefit from that. The other ones that look like they might have potential are the bleeding rune (does that work on mobs?) or the damage conversion rune (are any of them worth it?)

+stats is the best if you just want to make it non-decay.

Bleeding runes aren't a good idea.

Electricty rune might be good for a bashing weapon, the others not so much.

How good is MANIFEST DESTRUCTION? I have access to it because of war seal, but it would take all of my weight. (Neither of the other war seal powers seems worth getting, am I missing anything with them?)

Honestly, it depends on your int and your balance time

as a faeling, I have 3.1 balance time

I did 1573 with 19int and 20% dmp buff against 25% reduction and 55/42 robes (don't know if that matters).
Only buffs were war and fire buff tattoo

I can buff that up with kirigami, knowledge karma, etc. but hopefully that helps.

Not worth it for 50 weight demis

Never had destruction myself, so I'm certainly no expert, but it seems where it really shines is bashing (as a faeling mostly, as Sidd said). The pvp damage isn't that impressive in most cases when compared to, say, your staff attack.
And since you won't be able to get +int if you get it as a normal demi, you'll sacrifice another portion of damage there. Not worth it unless you can squeeze out a manna somehow, I agree.

I'm trying to get back into Lusty, if only casually due to time restrictions. Treant is no longer supported, so I'm gonna have to manual it until I muster up enough credits to afford m&m. I have few friends in-game and fewer still which are currently active, so I'm here with a few questions to pull me out of the gutter. Most of them, I realize, would be better asked in Mechanic's, but eh.

1. What are the alliances right now? I know I could ask on CT, but only newbies seem to be around, so. :/

2. If anyone has demonnic's tabbed chat: how do I get it to work (on the latest Mudlet beta thingy)? It appears in the top right, but doesn't work from what I can tell. I've no idea how such a thing is supposed to work in the first place, so I may just be misunderstanding something! I tried going through the code to find things which maybe need to be set up, but Mudlet is so much different than MUSH that I feel like a fish out of water.

3. Since Caffrey's map is no longer updated (BAWWW) and Mudlet mapping seems to be the trend now, what's the best way to make use of the mapper? Just map it all out from scratch somehow, or is there someone else's map that I could import into Mudlet, or what? Note that I haven't the faintest idea how the mapper is supposed to work, so don't judge my noob questions too much.

Glomdoring, Celest and Gaudiguch are still on friendly terms, as far as I can tell. Hallifax is independent, leaving Serenwilde and Magnagora likely in the same boat. They may still have an alliance, but someone else should clarify that for you.

You've got to go through and set up triggers for your org/guild/clans etc. to capture. You can find an example in Triggers > TabbedChat > Demonnic > TabbedChat. Just copy that over, editing as needed, and it should start filling up with blather!

Celest, Glomdoring and Gaudiguch are all mutally allied with eachother. Hallifax, Magnagora and Serenwilde are all nominally independant, being formally allied with nobody. Hallifax and Serenwilde have tried for peace with Celeglomiguch, but no peace ended up happing. Magnagora remains cheerfully hostile to the Celest Glomdoring Gaudiguch alliance, but isn't attacking Seren or Hallifax as far as I know.
