When attaching a rune of contained dimensional instability to an artisan-crafted box, is it still limited to holding a maximum of 4 items?
Svorai2012-07-12 12:36:07
I put 25 things in my runed box regularly, so no, not limited to four items. Not logged in to check what the limit is, though.

Going through shops and looking at paintings, I noticed a few were different - like there's one called the Mes'ard Sisters and some others.
I started learning arts and such, but there's only Portraits, landscapes and still life.
So really my question is - are these just "special" paintings - or is there some way of creating these?
Shulamit2012-07-12 17:39:09
You can make a special painting by changing the short and extended desc in a manse room, then painting it with landscapes.

Edit - Since manse rooms can be given individual permissions now, you could get someone to give you access to a single room in a manse to make unique paintings in. You just make the manse room name the name of the painting, then the extended desc what you want the painting to look like, then do paint here....poof, painting. It's awesome. I make a lot sometimes.

Ohhhhhh. Well! Thanks. Not sure why I didn't think of that myself, hee.

1. How much essence/karma does Shrine Gravity cost? Used to be 100k, but I suppose that got reduced being that it's now a personal power and thus able to use karma instead of essence. Or does it really cost 100% karma, lol?

2. How much do Shrine Distort, Shrine Lifeforce, Replenish and Allcure cost?

3. How much do Shrine Armour, Pacification and Herald cost?

Need the data (if it's available and not some kind of secret), but neither the privs nor will to use them all to see for myself. :( Halp plz.

The cost of gravity was not changed, so yes, it costs 100% karma, 75% if you have the Symbol arti. I've never seen any of those other powers used, so I have no idea on the cost.

Is there any way to determine the 'reset schedule' for an artifact? For example if you loan something to someone it would be handy to know how long they will have it before it will reset so you know if/when you will need to give it to them again.
Ssaliss2012-07-13 05:22:22
Artifacts always give a GMCP-message when they reset, whether you already have them or not. I guess you can use that to determine when it will reset next.

The level 30/75 hours minimum for marriage - does that restrict the actual marrying, or proposal as well?
Unknown2012-07-15 04:54:28
You can't really get married without a proposal can you?

The latter.
Agnlaa2012-07-15 05:10:43
That's what I thought, but the wording "be at least level 30 to be married" gave me some doubt I wanted to clear up.

Concerning city shops, how do you go about changing the shop name and room desc?
Ssaliss2012-07-15 19:01:19
Talk to the chancellor. They can edit that.
Kante2012-07-15 19:10:32
Something I meant to put in the last post but forgot...Is there a price associated with the changes?
Ssaliss2012-07-15 19:17:29
Not sure, TBH. I know Glom have a cost for changing desc/name, but I'm not sure if that's to cover expenses or to stop people from changing it every day, so Mag might be different.
Kante2012-07-15 19:23:31
Thank you.
Ssaliss2012-07-15 19:31:25
Ah, just found it in the helpfiles. It costs 1000 gold to retitle it, and 10.000 gold to redescribe it.

If you have an artisan throne built somewhere, and an artisan tries to build a second one for you in another manse - what happens?
Zynna2012-07-17 23:16:18
Tacita:

If you have an artisan throne built somewhere, and an artisan tries to build a second one for you in another manse - what happens?

They both work for you.
