Not sure what you mean by hints.
You need to get the essence from your org, and then bash/influence with your beast till it's "ready"

There is a throne that can be made if you have a merian and a dracnari... it's the perfect throne for a Magnagoran these days!

But it won't be fun unless I use player corpses. How quickly do they decay in Lusternia and if I decapitate a corpse will it last longer and still be usable for crafting?

Yep, beast attack is lower than player attack. Have it hit yourself (config masochism on if you have the disc skill) a few times and then use your own attack on yourself and see the difference it makes. Beast damage does scale up with their level I believe, not sure if body trains affect it. I think the latter may be only their HP pool.

I personally have my beast only attack to raze shields, it feels more worth it to not wait for EQ recovery because you are bouncing off a shield, than the extra damage the beast does while you have it attack each time it can. Your results may vary however, depending on if you have a raze ability or not and all.

Also, if you have overdrive or damageshift or whatever it's called in Discipline (the thing that transfers crit damage), if you kill something with a really big crit, using the beast attack to oneshot a second target without wasting more bal/eq is nice.

Buy aggressive, it upgrades the beast's damage. Anyways, a few hundred damage tacked onto your attack isn't anything to sniff at. I wish it still worked on players, that was so awesome.

Edit: after further investigation it seems I had to remove my rune before attaching it. That's problematic for people without pliers, so I'll bug it.
