Yes, you can and no. It's just the damage from the "new" critical. It would get pretty crazy if the damage from them all was carried over ;)

If you fireproof your robe and your cloak does it give you double fire protection?

I don't believe so, no... but I'm probably about to be corrected. I'm 99% sure I asked this same question numerous times and have always been told no.

I know tattoos affect it, I have minorbreathe gas and my poison buff tattoo affects it

I'm pretty sure that your personal int score changes your beast's breath damage.

I've found myself using letters quite a bit lately; is there a way to stop or slow the decay on unused stationary and/or sent letters?

The post office can do it, but only for letters you have in your inventory. And to add months to the decay timer, not to stop it. And you pay for each IG month you want it to last. It gets awkwardly expensive, so sadly, it's better to just copy/paste the letters you want to save somewhere else.

Unless it's been changed, storing letters in a desk slows their decay time.

Also, can you wear a splendour hat with a splendour robe, or only with a splendour suit? I'd like to know before I go through the design process.
