Is there an unspoken rule that all squad names must be silly?
Enyalida2012-08-10 03:29:20
Noooo, where ever did you get that idea? Shush, before someone hears you speak about it... first rule o-GAK, THEY FOUND ME ALREA-
Theomar2012-08-10 04:15:18
I've been asking around, but no one has been able to tell me. Where do I start the Cavalier quest?
Daereth2012-08-10 06:15:05
The tae'dae compound north of Dairuchi off the highway.

Do pocketbelts still exist in game? If not how do you carry extra herbs?
Ssaliss2012-08-10 06:28:03
Pocketbelts don't exist, no. You can buy rift extensions for credits if you need the extra capacity badly enough; otherwise, you could buy a manse and store the herbs on the ground there in groups. They _shouldn't_ decay there.

That is unfortunate but thank you for the answer.

If you mean a manse shop, yes. But the regular rooms of the manse itself have no preservative power, and they do indeed decay there. (Strangely, some riftables do and some don't, and the ones that do, do fast.)

No. The rule is often spoken!

Actually, according to Iosai, herbs don't decay. Don't think there's a log of it here, but at least that's what I was told.
Calixa2012-08-10 17:45:31
Easily enough to test, put a palm sigil in a manse room nobody else can get to, and toss out 1 of each herb. See if they all remain there. I've heard people say before they keep herb overflow on their manse floor. Of course, if it is somehow lost, the admin may not be willing to recover it, but if it works it can be at least a temporary solution.

Shops don't have liquid rifts, do they? or is there an artifact that grants one?
Ssaliss2012-08-10 20:09:02
Nope, no liquid rift in shops. That's what kegs are for!
EDIT: And since kegs can hold 5000 sips instead of the 2000 of the liquid rift, it's not really needed.

Less things on the shop floor, or more room for other things.

Herbs don't decay, wood does though (outr wood; that chunk I just pulled out has an 11-month decay time).
Unknown2012-08-12 01:15:01
There's lots of ways to make items last longer, is there any way to make items decay more quickly?

You can always destroy an item by putting into a nexus.
Unknown2012-08-12 01:21:56
Ya but as a tailor I wouldn't mind having a quicker means to produce tawdry items.
Xenthos2012-08-12 01:30:52
Can't you mend it even when it's nearly full? Or do you have to wait for a certain number of months before you can do it again?
Unknown2012-08-12 01:33:05
It has to be under 25 months to get mended.
A "shred item, it's stylish" skill in tailoring would be pretty sweet :)
