It's fun to speculate which Glomdoring character, player or npc, can fit the crazed zealot description. Also, a lot of us are in love with the room name and description. Loving the game is a given! :)

Initially I liked this game, but people have taken to consistently killing the same person night zero (particularly me) so it's not longer possible for me to even participate in vengeance. I believe I'm at about 17 games played, and 10 deaths in night zero. So, until there is some way to change your name for the game (my suggestion was creating maybe 20-30 unique identities for each game, and then a person gets assigned an identity and a role) then it just isn't worth playing anymore

You'll simply need to replace the traditional, "On zero night, Morbo's death is right" chant with "When in doubt, Revan out".

Honestly I (along with others) also suffer a bit from being too popular, and while it can be a bummer, there's not much you can do about it besides talk your way out of things.

There's also the snag right now where I wouldn't know how many others were normal, non-power role townies if I'm one of them, as quoted above. It got me confused for a bit! :)

Might I suggest that those who are playing the game not be able to see what roles are in play? In RL Mafia, you do not know how many assassins there are, or if you have a detective, protector, etc. Implementing this would make the game more challenging I think, and incite more paranoia

For a given number of players, there are always certain roles available. Hiding the available roles wouldn't actually do anything, unless the role assignments became random.

I actually tried to go before games and say "I'm going to die first, so protector or watcher, do your thing to me so you'll at least see who kills me or stop them" and just nobody did, and dying on night 0 constantly means that's all I can really do which unfortunately brings more attention to it and then people think it's hilarious to continue to make it so I can't enjoy the game.

Let the people with night roles change their commands? I know as both blocker and vigilante I've picked one person, then decided right afterwards I want to switch to somebody else.

Also, let them choose NONE. Waiting for the night to time out because the vigilante doesn't want to kill anybody yet is kind of annoying.

Scum have a really hard time fakeclaiming not just power roles, but also vanilla town. This is because every player always knows exactly what roles are in the game, the power roles usually only have a single player, and even the vanilla townies don't have many players (I've played games where there's only been one). To fix this, it'd be nice if there were pools of roles, which would allocate a certain number from the pool randomly to players, but the game as a whole is not informed which roles have been selected, only the possible pool. An example in action: a pool of {Protector, Investigator, Populace, Populace} from which 2 roles are drawn; Estarra and Iosai draw Populace and Protector, but their roles are not shown as being definitely in the game; instead, the players are only informed that 2 roles from {Protector, Investigator, Populace, Populace} have been drawn. The 'roles remaining' list is tricky: information about who drew what could be gained as roles are removed from the list with deaths. It would be simpler to just list the roles present (or might be present) at the start of the game, and not update it with deaths -- the dead people and their roles are listed anyway, and it's a simple deduction to make.

The solution to this is to not allow anyone to see what roles are present OR who they killed until after the game. I know a lot of games are played where you have no idea if you killed a power role, a townie or an assassin. Makes it super fun :D

I'm a beast in RL Mafia, but I agree with everyone saying to dis-allow the "Roles Remaining." Of course, I have to say a HUGE thanks for everything, but I agree with Revan on this. If it weren't for "Roles Remaining" I'd win a lot more often. And MAYBE enable VTELL during Day?
