Need to disable tells and messages for people who are playing the game. Also, when you're out of the game, the assassins are on top of the VENGEANCE RESULT list.. so I could just tell someone who all the assassins are

Cities can buy it so they can start them, set fees to join (which determine rewards), etc.

Tells are disabled between players in a vengeance game (or should be!). The latter issue has been fixed already, and the list is now shown in a random order.

I will consider that, but I don't want to have to get into the idea of blocking 100% of communication (infeasible). It does require a little sportsmanship to be played fairly, but I believe the current setup does let the player know that communication and collaboration is disallowed. If we blocked all tells, should we block clans as well? City, order? But then will people ever play, because if they get raided they'll never know until the game ends? And then people will be forced to talk OOC/OOG again, where we can't limit communication at all.
Maybe I'm rambling, but you see my point. I decided to err on the side of trusting players to understand the rules of the game.

So day doesn't end unless all assassins vote or something? That seems off.
It'd be nice if there was a godfather set who made the killing vote by themselves, and the onus is on them to take up opinions before executing a decision. I can see how the spread kill might be fair otherwise, especially in really big games. But we got 4 assassins revealed in one move, so... that seems a little much.

There was a time limit on both day and night phases. We ended up with a no lynch once because we didn't decide fast enough.

It should require all assassins to unanimously agree upon a target. Also, only one of the assassins (the last to vote, I believe) will actually "do" the action, and so only one will show up on watcher results.

Yeah, cool game. It's better irl because you get to watch body behavior but this one is fun. Is there any reason why we're not voting yes/no to lynch? Something to do with time limits? I miss smaller roles like the pacifist, who always votes no. It would be interesting to see more roles, too, for larger games (more players join, more roles open up). The one game I played in had quite a few people, and we could have had more roles than were available.

Still let us see who voted for who, but also it would be nice to see the total votes somebody has, and how many are needed to get the lynch.
Especially with the time limits it would be nice to quickly find that info.

Allow a second use of VENGEANCE FOO during the same night to change your choice of attack /protect /watch /investigation/ whatever target instead of just failing.
Spectator mode! Allow people in the staging area to hear what's going on in the main room.
