Only if Via actually starts to work like a catacombs tarot that only works from the main roads.
Enyalida2011-10-24 17:32:53
Let's.... not make flow any natural terrain. Via shouldn't require declaration to move to someone (if it still does?), vine should work anywhere. Making blend work in all natural terrains wouldn't be so hard, there are already skills that use that list (camouflage). I'm rooting for the tinkering enchant to copy laetitia (but with a bit of a cost attached, the horn and the charges).
Kiradawea2011-10-25 13:29:49
Via doesn't require any declaration. It's just so exceedingly limited the situations it can be used that it's pretty much never used, as it requires both you and your target to stand still on one of the four main roads around the basin. So usually you're better of just teleporting as, even though Via is quicker, the time saved is eaten up by moving yourself and your target to the roads.

Was not suggested. Old flow was just any forest location on the same continent, then local area, then restricted by type. Flow would remain as a skill exemplifying the "deeper connection to the forest" while the others are modified to represent the connection to all of nature.

From the warrior perspective, I won't say that commune skills (stag/moon specifically) are bad by any means. But I will say they (again stag/moon) do feel more boring compared to the cool mechanics and fluff of the messages that cities get.
Unknown2011-10-25 18:17:49
If only you asked for that moon/night instakill!
Rathan2011-10-25 19:59:04
You mean this one?:
Report #482 Skillset: Night Skill: New
Guild: Shadowdancers Status: Rejected Jan 2011
Problem: Wiccans don't have any other avenues to pursue for a kill aside from
toadcurse/damage, while other guardian guilds have at least
(primary/tert/damage). Furthermore, commune warriors suffer similar issues. A
new skill in Night, named Consume (8p), that requires Night bonds (plus 3p for a
total of 11p) to be cast in the room would take 8s to instantly kill someone
should they still be present in the room at the end of the time, is my solution.
Whatever stops chasm will stop this ability. Wiccans are rapidly becoming
outdated with the introduction of new guilds/revamps, so it'd be nice if they
were brought up to speed a bit.
Solution #1: Alternative 1: 6p for 10s total time
Solution #2: Provide a solution here.
Solution #3: Provide a solution here.

Sure, at the very least, they tried.
Rivius2011-10-25 21:14:48
How about a mana instakill in moon/night that requires lower than say 25-15% mana and some other condition?
Kiradawea2011-10-25 21:19:34
If someone is that low on mana then a Wiccan can just Toadcurse them.
Turnus2011-10-25 21:44:43
Interesting idea aimed for warriors not wiccans. That'll mainly just be useful for BM pinleg/rend spam and and BC if they can crushaorta spam you, not so much PB/AL.
Unknown2011-10-26 01:39:02
Toadcurse isn't an instakill, though. Refer to Eventru's take on the matter.
Unknown2011-10-26 03:33:32
I would be worried about giving Wiccans access to a timerkill, as a sleepspam Wiccan with a bit of other hindering (which Night can especially provide) are rather difficult to escape from, particularly before 10-12 seconds runs its course.
That said, I'm not opposed to making Toadcurse a true instakill, else reducing it's cost.

Wiccans obviously need new cool ents. Their current fae are so 5 years ago >.>
Malarious2011-10-29 08:46:29
Hey thats not true! Some of those fae are a year or less old! Snoefasia, the influencing fae, and willowisps return!

Ack! Bots making relevant posts!
Rathan2011-11-01 14:26:33
It's just quoted from the first post in the thread that I wrote, with an ad link tagged onto the end. Don't worry, it's still the same spammy spam that they always post.
