Yes to partial offerings, please! Even it it shaves off a level (or maybe increasing amounts of levels the larger the offering).

Yes to partial offerings, please! Even it it shaves off a level (or maybe increasing amounts of levels the larger the offering).

As I suggested! Proportionate level loss based off of percentage of esteem offered compared to total esteem. 50% offered, 50% level loss.

Can ITEMLIST FIGURINE be added?

For example

*******************************************************************************
Id__________Figurine______Esteem Units_____Level__Months
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
267470__a figurine of Estarra__30000__________15___110
26119___a figurine of Razenth__empty_________12____91

Sure, but I'll probably just make ITEMLIST ESTEEM show all figurines (since they're the only thing that can be imbued now). Also, we aren't going to allow partial offering at this time. Sorry!

Are you sure you don't want to take a role in Lusternia? We'll adore you with tons of esteem, and make your god realm bigger than Eventru - as well with a much larger fan base.

One last question. Is it possible for esteem to be sold at a shop, not as in you buy the entire figurine, but the figurine is at the shop, containing the esteem. You purchase per unit. So lets sayprice figurine 20 1000:18 5000:16 10000: 14
and let people transfer the units of esteem to their own figurine. And because esteem is lost with the transfer, let the person who's buying the esteem pays for the esteem lost as well?

And if possible maybe a buyout price? So that the person could buy the entire figurine they want? Buy figurine21231 full?

Iosai:

Well, you can transfer 100k to a throw-away figurine and offer that if you want! :)
What's a throw away figurine? I'm not seeing any for sale for less than 7200.
Unknown2011-10-29 14:43:35
A throw-away figurine is something like the 2500g I sell at my Glomdoring shop :) /shameless

And boo on the no-partial-offerings-at-this-time, but oh well. I guess we'll just have to eat the 5% loss. And that Falcon suggestion, I think, is on hold for Estarra to approve (?).

I've already posted this, but personally, I'd prefer a completely separate item to sell esteem. Mostly for two reasons:

  1. It would make it much more understandable for the customers. Figurines can be bought to store esteem in, and the other item can be used to buy esteem from.
  2. Loss of esteem. If figurines are used to both sell esteem from and imbue esteem into, then it's a safe bet that the 5% loss would apply to both actions. Sure, you could have two figurines and just switch between them as you restock, but that'd just get clumsy after a while. Instead, you could transfer the esteem to the second item at a 5% loss, and then people could buy it from that item without any loss at all; the loss has already happened.

o There is a new skill in Artisan: Pedestals! These can be used to store
a figurine in a shop and allow the selling of esteem. Note that the
quantity of esteem shown in WARES will automatically deduct
approximately 5% to allow for the costs of transferral. For example, if
a figurine stored in a pedestal has 500 units of esteem, it will show in
WARES as having 475 units available. Syntax: IMBUE WITH
ESTEEM FROM .

NICE!!!

can the help file be updated? It shows nothing under ab artisan pedestals. And and and, THANK YOU
Iosai2011-10-30 21:09:06
The ab file has been set up properly now. :)

How do we use the pedestal? One figurine per pedestal? Put the figurine on the pedestal, or since it's a container in it? The pedestal isn't a furniture, but rather you can carry it. Is it possible to sell pedestals themselves in a shop?
Iosai2011-10-30 21:37:06
No, you can't sell pedestals themselves in shops (mimics kegs and cubes). One item per pedestal. Put the figurine in/on the pedestal (same thing), and then price the pedestal for the amount you want to sell each unit of esteem for.
Sakr2011-10-30 21:38:55
Is the pricing the same like herbs? Can we do 100:15 200:13 500: 12?

edit: how does moving esteem from a lvl 40 figurine to a lvl 1 work as well?
Iosai2011-10-30 21:40:00
Unfortunately that can't be done. It is restricted to the normal pricing scheme, as with kegs and cubes.
Sakr2011-10-30 21:41:11
alright, thank you

--------(Item)-------(Description)----------------------------(Stock)-(Price)-

pedestal44171: esteem (a gilded pedestal) 1 15gp

Probed the pedestal, doesn't show how much esteem is for sale, stock is for the pedestal itself I'm guessing. So can the total amount of esteem for sale per pedestal show please?
Ssaliss2011-10-31 22:02:10
I thought it already was reduced? At least that's what the announce said; if you put a miniature in the pedestal with 500 esteem in it, only 475 esteem would show for sale. Or did I misunderstand you?
Iosai2011-10-31 22:12:03
There isn't a figurine in that pedestal! It shouldn't be showing up - this will be fixed soon.
Sakr2011-10-31 22:15:25
heh, well, another question then. Does moving a higher level figurine's esteem to a lower level influence the amount of esteem transferred?
