Frankly I was about ready to quit Lusternia if this 250 limit went through, but the compromises accompanying it have changed my mind (for now at least, we'll see how it goes). I think the grace period, free upgrade to current shops, and price reduction are fair, and I for one appreciate Estarra taking our concerns into account when making this decision.

Great. Now we are seeing the "Dollar Store" market mentality as everyone dumps stock.

This too shall pass.

Okay. Estarra, thank you for allowing us 500 items. 250 is far too few when I store half of my character's stuff (and Miciah's) within. So thank you very much.

Any idea when gold-purchased commune shop upgrades will become available? I'd like to know how much I have to reduce before the next month.

I'm sure you'll survive for a few weeks while some of us try to make back a fraction of the hundreds of thousands of gold we invested in our current stock. ;)

I think you read me wrong. I also stand to loose a fair amount of gold in this market as well. I can't even give away supplies fast enough, much less recoup on my investment.
Razenth2011-11-19 00:44:29
Not like there's anything to spend all that gold on anyways.

Does anyone know exactly when items will start to decay after? I'm not sure if it's started already or not, but the guild shop is still over the maximum.
Unknown2011-11-25 16:33:52
First, we need to have those upgrades available, and then the stuff will be allowed to start decaying.

On the plus side, maybe Artisans will actually get orders for Weapon Racks and Cabinets now.
Ssaliss2011-12-10 10:03:53
Is the plan still to implement the decay in five days (according to announce 1908, it'd happen after a month), despite there not yet being any ways to boost the capacity of stockrooms?

It only said they'd "start" (which to me hopefully means that they'll start putting in the other things and getting it ready, not just plugging it in. There's still no flower holder either!)

Depends on how you interpret "before we start implementing item decay in stockrooms" I suppose. Either way, I'd kinda want an answer.

I've already dumped all of my excess inventory figuring decay is imenent. Hope they don't give an extension. An org shop solution would be nice.

I asked on behalf of the Spiritsingers (Perfect Fifth) and was told there is no way to increase Shop Capacity at the moment (But if it's ever added, it would be global/any shopkeeper could purchase it, a la signs/shoplogs).
Enyalida2011-12-10 22:10:44
I was kind of hoping that communes/cities could permanently upgrade shop space, so that anyone who gets that shop space has the increased size...
