No, they stay the same.
Ssaliss2011-11-13 01:31:43
And to make a short whishlist...
- A way to fill the rift directly from shop kegs, if you cannot already.
- The ability to fill the liquid rift directly from alembics as an alchemist.
- Perhaps a liquid shop rift?
Iosai2011-11-13 01:37:12
Liquid shop rifts are a no at the moment, else kegs would become defunct.
The other two are on the list for doing tomorrow. :)

I had a feeling that'd be the answer re: liquid shop rift, even though they'd only be able to hold 40 fills worth without being expanded. Looking forward to filling the liquid rift without using vials though!
Malarious2011-11-13 04:54:35
I am going to get rid of sooo many vials, or get the expansion rune and some more arty vials... so far I already have:
- 3 commemorative iron vials (I assume these are just non decaying normal vials for the sake of changes?)
- 1 ORIGINAL arty vial, when they were called "glowing"
- 3 newer arty vials
I have at least 20 preset liquids plus iron vials. Yay! Get a rune and bam liquidrift can hold it all. :D

NOOOO! How will we have ridiculous robes made from pocketbelts now?
The robes need only leather comms to be made, since pocketbelts have never been a commodity. If they don't exist anymore, though, then you might have trouble explaining it to a novice who sees them.

That's what I meant. I was being facetious in any case. I think robes made from pocketbelts are beyond silly.
Unknown2011-11-13 05:04:47
Oh, and these changes sound neat, but it's really hard figuring out how it works with only a quick read and not interface. Must log in soonish.
How many vials might the average person need now, with all this?
EDIT:
And I enjoy taking it seriously regardless of how facetious you are being.

You'll have to wait and see. ;)
Seeing this statement come from you makes me super excited. :D

What is the LiquidRift expanding artifact, and how much does it cost?
Unknown2011-11-13 05:36:10
It's the old Rune of Spacial Glasswork, now called a Rune of Liquid Expansion. Haven't checked the price.
Unknown2011-11-13 05:44:04
It seems to be the "drop of extraspacial aethersource". It is 275 credits. I bought it to get my poisons squared away, though some vials don't seem to want to go in for whatever reason.
Also, is there a way to unlink a vial from a curative?

From the announce post:
o Runes of Spatial Glasswork are now known as Runes of Liquid Expansion.
They can be ACTIVATEd to expand a player's LiquidRift, allowing it to
store 50 different fluids and increasing the max sips of each fluid by
50% of base. Up to 6 Runes of Liquid Expansion can be activated,
allowing a total of 8000 sips of each liquid to be stored.

Yeah, but that's not there. What is in the shop is only "drop of extraspacial aethersource" which has worked exactly as stated above as far as I can tell.
However, we need a normal arti-vial rune there too please!
Unknown2011-11-13 05:55:32
Oh, and for reference to people who can't log in to ask about it, teardrop sigils require 1 gold and 1 silver to make.

Rainydays:

The response I got was when I asked was no. Though I've no idea what'd happen if you linked 7 liquids to an artievial in a bandolier, then took it back out.
Lehki2011-11-13 06:41:06
I don't suppose we could get a bit of organization for liquid rift list like the normal rift list has? Breaking into categories?
Mainly I just want my ecology poisons separate from my everything else, but if there were more then that, I guess I'd say Potions, Salves, Purgatives, Teas, Poisons, Alcohol, Misc?

You are currently unable to sprinkle salt, sprinkle sulfur, or coat things with oils with linked vials to the relevant liquids. It seems you only covered drink/apply, FYI.
I love the changes though, guess I need to start getting artie vials. Then if I ever ragequit Lusternia, I can easily come back.

I like this! It's cool! Finally arti vials are useful
Iosai2011-11-13 10:55:42
I've fixed all the other verbs, so you'll be able to coat/infuse/proof/etc from the next reload. I'll look into splitting the liquid rift into organised sections. Currently, you can't take anything out of the bandolier once you've put it in. The Rune of Liquid Expansion is now called the drop of extraspatial aethersource. We didn't consider it a rune, because you have to attach those to something.
