Also, you don't so much awaken as a dragonborn as get ambushed by a couple of special powers and subsequently drafted.

One more thing for Sarvasti, Maces are the best weapons in the game overall. Armor Penetration is VERY powerful against late-game enemies with decent gear.
Meh, I like mah swords. *shrug* maces are just ugly.
