For me it's fine to meet at the pub and go there if you guys want, but if some of you end up paying extra to take the tube/bus then might be better to meet there directly. It isn't very difficult to find, anyway, just right by one of the stations... cannot remember exactly which one but it's very noticeable.

South Kensington, there is a tunnel that takes you all the way to the museum!

Also, I just got my tickets booked. I hope an offpeak zone 1 tube ticket for the day will be enough to get me to the science museum and then back to the station? There are barely any trains leaving for home that day and time, so my train leaves just before 8PM.

I am sure that will be fine - I'm thinking pub from 2-3, museum until 5ish, more pubbing afterwards, as a rough approximation of the day.

No promises, but I may very well be able to make this. I certainly have the funds. It's just going to boil down to the usual time constraints.
