Being allowed an opinion and being rude to your superiors (from an IC perspective) are very different things. How would your boss IRL react if you told him that both him and all of his policies are stupid? I suggest you re-evaluate how you treat others in game. Lusternia is very much team oriented, and you don't sound like you were being a team player, with your guild, org, or alliance.

When policies make no IC sense, of course they're going to be questioned. Do you really want mindless robots to play here?
Lusternia has absolutely no problem with taking money. That's a given. Get kicked from your guild, and they want you to spend more money, if you choose to stick around instead of completely wasting $300. Nice.

Which policies are you talking about, because if you are talking about being barred from stealing from another nation, that makes perfect IC sense. It would certainly help if you made a case for why these policies are stupid IC, and further, if you aren't rude about it someone who works hard (and I know Druken does) to make life comfortable for novices.

I tried doing that, and you see where it got me. When people are disrespectful to others, it doesn't make them want to lick their asses. I tried talking to Sidd about it, got her killed. You want me to keep trying? Not a chance. You all can do what you want here. I hope it blows up in your faces.
Kiradawea2012-02-23 17:49:10
Cities may have essence, but forests have far more stake into the fae of Ethereal. And unlike essence where only the respective nation got anything on trying to keep others from taking it, both Serenwilde and Glomdoring will come down on any city-folk influencing fae.

I only wish I had played more before deciding on buying credits here.

>Blame Estarra/IRE/Admin/Lusternia for a particular player/org's choice, "robbing" you of money. Lolololololololol
Also, I don't fancy you learned what F'ai Glomdoring actually means in your short time here? Yeah.
Sidd2012-02-23 17:58:45
You didn't 'talk' to sidd at all, you made a bunch of widely incorrect statements and didn't listen to a thing I said. You were mouthy, disrespectful and most definitely self-entitled. If you want to discuss it requires you listening and responding, not having a temper tantrum. No one made you quit Glom, you did that on your own
Edit: and to think, you raged this hard over giving up 15 pieces of essence to gaudi, talk about overreacting

:D It's good to see that every game has players that blindly protect their orgs no matter what. At least, in Achaea, you can play a rogue without as much drawback as here.
Let me inform you all of one particular idea: you are not perfect. Your orgs are not perfect. Your alliances are as unintelligent as they come.
While Lusternia has some very nice features, handing control of players' money to other players is one of the worst business decisions that can be made.

Well, if that's your decision on the matter. So be it.

Lol, I told you we were not perfect. I agreed with you. You know why you lost those lessons and that money. YOU made the choice to leave Glom. No one booted you. You typed in 'quitthe glomdoring' which resulted in you getting ousted from the BT. YOU made that choice, no one else did

2012/02/23 17:21:14 - Iskaet quit the commune.
Unknown2012-02-23 18:20:49
Umm, she was TOLD to leave Glomdoring. Who wants to stay in an org after told to leave? Really though, she isn't going to kiss someone's behind just because they have the word "Prince" in their title. You call it disrespectful. I call it speaking her mind. What she said was blunt and to the point. It contained her opinion of Glomdoring. Of course, it's going to be considered disrespectful to those who it offends. She considers the alliance as a poor decision, and said as much. Glomdoring doesn't defend its own. Frankly, I don't want to play a char in an org like that, regardless of if said org is 'winning or losing'. I'd rather play in an org that gets pounded on daily, while making a bit of sense in its decisions.
Ssaliss2012-02-23 18:21:24
And since no one else brought it up... There is no official alliance between Glom and Gaudi, AFAIK, only a gentleman's agreement to be friendly. There are no rules set down for who can take what on the Fire plane. Could you have refused to hand them over? Sure. Would you likely have gotten enemied and killed? Yep. Would Glomdoring have done anything about it? Probably not.
Unknown2012-02-23 18:24:09
Exactly my point. This is why I said that Glomdoring does not take care of its own. It may have been a small matter, but it was the principle behind it.
Also, she was told that there is an alliance between them. Still though, they certainly act like there is.

Ahh, noted. No disagreeing with players who have played for longer than me. Got it.
Ssaliss2012-02-23 18:39:30
... You do realise there's a massive difference between disagreeing and disrespecting, right?
Unknown2012-02-23 18:41:37
It all boils down to how an individual takes it. Most people are going to call disagreeing disrespect because it offends them. If I say your org makes poor decisions and you call it disrespect, that's your problem - not mine.
Ssaliss2012-02-23 18:44:20
Apparently it is your problem though, not ours!
