We've been talking about ostracizing anyone who lets said 'alien, powerful being' come between them and their devotion to the Wyrd, because clearly they aren't devoted enough if they're letting it rule them.

Not that it's actually likely to come to that, but the subject came up for discussion-- you can't expect people ICly to give you a get out of jail free card. Insanity has never been a valid defense in Lusternia.

I've really enjoyed the RP in New Celest now that the Trills have become twisted and empowered by a Soulless God. Junia is one of the few people who were already Trill before, so it's full of moral conflict. We've got a quarantine-thing going where we keep them from using any of their powers, but there's a lot of resentment and fighting going on between the mortals (though Lord Eventru was pretty clear about what should be done about the Trill).

Lyfon's heart aches for those who were already Trill and hit by it, but while compassionate, they are more or less on the same level as Viscanti for the time being. The original Tainted by Kethuru didn't really have much of a choice in the matter either. It's a lovely inner conflict inside his mind about what to do, and is very enjoyable to roleplay and debate with other citizens. He's got to defer to the Divine on this one though.

What was really good RP (and interesting) was when Lyfon's father went Ice Angel to 'use the power of the Soulless against them.' Yeah, that's always worked well in the past! (See: Traitors, original Ice Angels, etc.)

Well, we were disfavoured for attempting to feed the Eye with a crapload of corpses.

And we did have some obnoxious titles (Angel of Prudence, Angel of Efficacy), which is where the whole 'proud of the touch of a Soulless God' comes into play. Which there isn't a law against, per se! But I -guess- it makes sense, making all of Hallifax look more evil than we should.

Of course Elostian was just fine with this, but according to the Board, His opinion is irrelevant :b

Well we have time travel and a bit of a paradox already. Perhaps we can trap Zenos in a time bubble and pull Climanti into the future... Plus there were a whole host of things in Climanti we didn't get to play with, like the astrologer, the prince and the steward. Also some of those funky items hidden in the Ice Havens. Unless I could have spoken to the Forsaken before trying to murder them and done a counter quest and not let Zenos out in the first place? (I'd have chosen to let Zenos out anyway, I'm a sucker for the soulless)
