Pretty much spent this time petrified, except when Sivas galvanised me to action. Thanks Sivas.
A soft, girlish voice rings out, "Xiran...?"
You jump into the air and land with a bump.
Rose Petal Lane.
The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. There is a
light drizzle of rain. This wide thoroughfare casually gambols along the edges
of Faethorn although when it's feeling quite sneaky, it connects with Rainwater
Lane over on the western side just to randomly confuse everyone. This lanes
derives its name from the fact that the road is made entirely from rose petals
and each step taken sinks slightly into the road. The delicate perfume of the
flowers is released every time someone passes by and property along the lane is
highly prized. There are 2 pigwidgeons here.
A whistling breeze winds its way south with the softest sound of bells marking
its passing.
Hesitantly, you say, "Lady Daydreamer?"
A pigwidgeon blinks and shuffles about impatiently.
A blur of colours blends into one as a prismatic rainbow of light swirls into
existence, coalescing into the form of Dasia, the Daydreamer.
Comprehension flashes across your face.
The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Dasia's lips.
You curtsey respectfully before Dasia.
A pigwidgeon bumbles off to the west on all four legs.
Her voice subdued, Dasia, the Daydreamer whispers, "Oh, please don't, you don't
need to curtsey for me."
Sheepishly, you say, "Apologies. I'm afraid it's a bit of a habit."
Dasia, the Daydreamer glances downwards, laughing very softly in reply.
You blink.
Concerned, you ask, "How are you faring, Lady Daydreamer?"
A pigwidgeon blinks and shuffles about impatiently.
With unutterable sadness, Dasia, the Daydreamer says to you, "I ah, I am sorry
to bother you. But I felt I...I have felt...have you ever known sadness, Silver
Font?"
A brownie somersaults in from the west.
The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here. There is a
light drizzle of rain. This wide thoroughfare casually gambols along the edges
of Faethorn although when it's feeling quite sneaky, it connects with Rainwater

derives its name from the fact that the road is made entirely from rose petals
and each step taken sinks slightly into the road. The delicate perfume of the
flowers is released every time someone passes by and property along the lane is
highly prized. Trying unsuccessfully to blend into the background, a pigwidgeon
scuffles about on the ground. A brownie leaps about from foot to foot here,
giggling inanely. Dasia, the Daydreamer is here, wreathed in divine fire. She
wields a paper fan painted with fanciful wonders in her left hand and a delicate
dreamcatcher in her right.
Xiran chews her lip.
After swallowing, you say, "I. Perhaps a few times."
Dasia, the Daydreamer holds herself very tightly, eyes wet as she bites her lip
and nods again.
Xiran reaches out unthinklingly, brushing the edge of her sleeve against
Dasia's cheek.
Hastily withdrawing, you say, "I! Ah. Sorry."
You blush furiously.
Reaching for the Silver Font's hand for comfort, Dasia, the Daydreamer says to
you, "Was it very hard? Because I have never felt so heavy inside. I try to
listen to the song of the trees rustling, and all I hear is the weeping willow's
sighs. I look up at the sky, and I don't feel happy when the sunlight warms my
skin."
Her voice becoming quieter, Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "I...I don't feel
anything good anymore."
Xiran blinks as her fingers close on Dasia's.
Alarmed, you say, "Erm!"
You ask, "Shall we head somewhere else? Somewhere you might feel a little bit
better?"
Shaking a bit, Dasia, the Daydreamer says to you, "Oh, no. I do not know if that
would help."
Dasia, the Daydreamer hesitates a moment, the colour leaving her cheeks.
She is a radiant immortal and hides her face behind thick, unruly blonde curls
that dominate her pixie features. Various leaves and flowers tangle within her
hair, their vibrant colours startling against the paler shade of yellow. No
larger than a small child, her willowy body possesses a weathered, bark-like
texture coloured the rich shade of mahogany dappled in sunlight. Freckles dot
her tiny pert nose, which is offset by large, long-lashed doe eyes that seem to
imbalance her otherwise delicate features. Likewise, her long slender hands
appear to weigh down her twiggy arms, and her bare feet anchor her with their
disproportioned length. Her gaze inconstant, she glides about languidly as if
caught in a dream, her lips upturned in a smile that belies a childlike sense of
wonder. She is wearing an anklet of lambent motes, a warm tulip of dawn, a vine-
woven necklace strung with bluebells, a colourful dress of the dreaming and a
leaf of shifting, dreamlike hues.
Her voice cracking, Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "Eliar, he has...Eliar is gone,
Silver Font."
Xiran floats over to wrap her arms about Dasia in a careful hug.
Anxiously, you say, "Gone?"
Dasia, the Daydreamer breaks out into a sob, trembling.
Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "He--he thought I was gone, that I had finished my
time in this world, and he became...distraught."
Dasia, the Daydreamer whispers, "The Lord-and-Lady Mysrai had to stop him from
doing anything dangerous to his city. So he, he was, I..."
Xiran strokes Dasia's tangled hair, skimming over the leaves and flowers,
murmuring softly.
Apprehensively, you whisper, "He..?"
Dasia, the Daydreamer says to you, "I never thought I would miss anything this
much. But I miss him. I can't stand missing him."
The white blanket of cloud in the sky above you thickens into a heavy cover.
Dasia, the Daydreamer furrows her brow with sudden resolve, attempting to hold
herself with pride.
Xiran pauses, drawing back slightly as she feels Dasia's shoulders straighten.
Suddenly, Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "I need to do something. I can't just, I
can't live like this, I can't."
Nervously, you ask, "What will you do, Lady Daydreamer?"
Hiriako tells you, "Boo."
(Serenwilde): Hiriako (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Greetings
Serenwilde."
(Moondancers): Hiriako (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Greetings, Coven."
Firmly, but with slight fear in her eyes, Dasia, the Daydreamer says to you, "I
shall go to the Moonhart, and beseech my Lord for a better ending. A happier
ending."
(Serenwilde): Arafinwe (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Greetings Hiriako.
"
Tendrils of mist wreathe about the silhouette of Dasia, the Daydreamer as she
dissipates into a shattered rainbow of colour upon the aether.
Stammering, you say, "End. Ending?"
(Serenwilde): You say, "Greetings Hiriako."
You tell Hiriako Myeras, "Oh dear. Lady Daydreamer came to me upset over
Eilar. I think she's headed to Moonhart Mother."
run! transverse prime
You place your hands on the Moonhart Mother Tree and find the link to the prime
material plane. Pulsating energy flares throughout your field of vision, and you
find yourself tumbling through the aether pathways.
A centaur hunter taps his forehead with his spear as you leave.
The Moonhart Mother Tree.
There is a moderate breeze here. A sedge of galingale is firmly planted in the
forest floor. A marjoram bush flourishes here, spreading its delicate scent.
Sprays of chervil cover the forest floor. Lovely coltsfoot carpets the forest
floor. Singing a hauntingly beautiful melody, Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart,
stands here. Towering high above is the Moonhart Mother Tree, stretching her
enormous branches heavenwards. Reaching up as high as the eye can see looms the
awesome presence of a living totem. There are 4 armoured owls here. There are 12
centaur hunters here. There are 6 buckets here. There are 3 fierce timberwolves
here. A birch sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here. There are 14
kephera nature warders here. There are 2 small screech owls here. Hovering over
a raised dais are two silver arrows, their long shafts crossed with the points
aimed skywards. An illustrated canvas hangs in the air here, supported by
silvery ribbons. A striped badger is here, licking its paws. A ceremonial fire
crackles here, sending orange sparks swirling upwards. Its petals glistening
with ice, a delicate snoefaasia orchid grows here from a clump of snow. In the
shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. There are 2 armoured badgers
here. A moon maiden floats here, her form swathed in glowing cloth. Watching you
warily, a silver-furred vixen sniffs the air. An elfen guard strolls here, alert
and vigilant. A platinum eye sigil is here. A blackened parchment is crinkled up
on the ground here. Kamikaze Kitten Scax Zayah is here, shrouded. He wields a
silvered-steel shofa in each hand. Lekius is here, shrouded. He wields an athame
dagger in his left hand.
You see exits leading north, south, and through a vined stairway.
A girlish voice rings out, "My Lord Dreamer? Show Yourself, please. I have need
of Your aid."
Hiriako tells you, "I had a feeling something happened with Eilar.
I saw note of him twice."
Scax's ears perk up with a sudden interest.
Hiriako tells you, "Wait, Eilar or Eliar?"
The howl of a distant wolf momentarily silences the crickets.
You tell Hiriako Myeras, "The Scarlet Goddess's Reveler."
Hiriako tells you, "Eliar, aye. Aye..."
You tell Hiriako Myeras, "Oh dear. I'm terrible with names. I'm sorry."
The feminine presence of the Daydreamer coalesces about the Moonhart Mother,
lingering with unmistakeable sorrow.
You tell Hiriako Myeras, "She speaks as if the Reveler's vanished from the Basin."
Lekius puts his hands on his hips and goes "Hmmm!"
And from the rustling trees appears a single, silvery firefly. It flutters in
lazy curlicues and spirals, alighting upon a golden clover.
The Moonhart Mother Tree.
There is a moderate breeze here. The variety of trees that crowd around the
Moonhart Mother Tree goes beyond count, elms and alders, beech and cherry,
hawthorn and hazel, evergreen and oak, all dwarfed by the magnificence and
majesty of the mother tree herself. The grasses and shrubs that grow in the
surrounding forest become scarce as they approach the tree, replaced by tiny
wildflowers of amethyst-purple and marble-white. The veil to the ethereal plane
is particularly thin, and the laughter of pixies and other creatures of the fae
tinkle down from the treetops and tickle the ears of those below. The atmosphere
itself, although benign and welcoming, also vibrates with a palpable power,
sending shivers up the skin. A clump of golden, four-leaf clovers sway in the
breeze here. A sedge of galingale is firmly planted in the forest floor. A
marjoram bush flourishes here, spreading its delicate scent. Sprays of chervil
cover the forest floor. Lovely coltsfoot carpets the forest floor. Singing a
hauntingly beautiful melody, Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart, stands here.

left hand. Kamikaze Kitten Scax Zayah is here, shrouded. He wields a silvered-
steel shofa in each hand.
You see exits leading north, south, and through a vined stairway.
You blink.
You scent at the air, your skilled nose picking up the faint traces of others in
the surrounding area.
Hiriako from secluded grove by the river.
Arafinwe from a shaded woodland.
Tandus from The Moonshine Shoppe.
Lekius from the Moonhart Mother Tree.
Sivas from the Glade of Observation.
Fayrin from The Moonshine Shoppe.
Sondayga from the Glade of Observation.
Scax from the Moonhart Mother Tree.
Across the heavens, the stars and moon challenge night's dark reign, revealing
familiar constellations that tell the tales of myth and legend.
Scax tilts his head and listens intently.
You chew on your lip thoughtfully.
You let loose a long breath from your lungs, exhaling slowly.
Hiriako tells you, "Hoaracle spoke of worry about potential heartbreak for the
Daydreamer, so that does not surprise me. I also...saw Eliar's name, recently.
With regards to my pooka, oddly enough."
A blur of colours blends into one as a prismatic rainbow of light swirls into
existence, coalescing into the form of Dasia, the Daydreamer.
The body of Servant of the Grove, Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth appears in
a flash and his soul descends to fill it, causing the previously expressionless
face to fill with emotion.
Scax bows respectfully to Dasia.
(Serenwilde): You say, "Is there any who might be able to help the Lady
Daydreamer call for Lord Hoaracle?"
(Serenwilde): Sondayga says, "Um, I'm not sure what that is but i'll help!"
Raising her head high, though her lips tremble as she speaks, Dasia, the
Daydreamer says, "I desire that my thread be cut, Lord Dreamer."
You give a horrified gasp.
Arsalil arrives from the south.
Eyeing her surroundings carefully, a shaggy war goat trots in from the south.
A centaur hunter says, "Hail, wildeling."
A kephera nature warder touches his headdress in salute towards Arsalil.
A centaur hunter says, "Hail, wildeling."
(Serenwilde): Sivas says, "Same here."
Saran creases his brow in a frown.
Arsalil curtseys respectfully before Dasia.
(Serenwilde): Arafinwe says, "If I can Help I will."
Lekius peers about himself unscrupulously.
Scax creases his brow in a frown.
You say, "Lady Daydreamer, surely there's a better way."
(Serenwilde): Hiriako says, "Lady Dasia, Lord Hoaracle's Daydreamer. She is but
ephemeral, but a good friend to the Serenwilde, and many of us."
Hiriako embraces Dasia with great ardour.
With a subdued eruption of light and dreamstuff, the firefly bursts, manifesting
fully in the form of Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer.
Hiriako gazes at Hoaracle with love and adoration.
Arsalil strokes Dasia's head in consolation.
Dasia kneels before Hoaracle, swearing her allegiance to Him.
(Serenwilde): Sondayga says, "Hrm is there perhaps a small ritual or prayer we
could use?"
Arsalil kneels before Hoaracle, swearing her allegiance to Him.
Hiriako Myeras says, "Hello, Dasia. It is good to see you, even under such
circumstances."
Saran bows respectfully to Hoaracle.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer looks upon Dasia with concern.
Hiriako gazes at Dasia with love and adoration.
Arsalil stands up and stretches her arms out wide.
Dasia stands up and stretches her arms out wide.
Dasia smiles softly at Hiriako.
Hiriako Myeras says to Hoaracle, "Greetings, Lord Hoaracle."
Hiriako Myeras offers a gentle smile.
Arsalil leaves to the north.
With a heavy snort, a shaggy war goat trots northwards.
(Serenwilde): You say, "Hail, Lord Hoaracle."
You perform a graceful curtsey.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer offers short greetings to the assembled mortals,
keeping His eye on Dasia. "My Daydreamer..." He rumbles.
You hear a rustling and turn to see Arsalil emerging from the undergrowth.
Eyeing her surroundings carefully, a shaggy war goat trots in from the ether.
A centaur hunter raises his spear to Arsalil.
You tell Sondayga Zayah, Heir of Glinshari, "Oh dear oh dear. She requested her
thread be cut."
Dasia, the Daydreamer whispers to Hoaracle, "It is my thread, but I belong to
You, my Lord. And I will do as You command me."
You wince in pain.
The Moonhart Mother Tree.
It is quite mild. The variety of trees that crowd around the Moonhart Mother
Tree goes beyond count, elms and alders, beech and cherry, hawthorn and hazel,
evergreen and oak, all dwarfed by the magnificence and majesty of the mother
tree herself. The grasses and shrubs that grow in the surrounding forest become

elfen guard strolls here, alert and vigilant. A platinum eye sigil is here. A
blackened parchment is crinkled up on the ground here. Gnawing on the leather
bit of her reins, a shaggy, phlegmatic war goat with a single black horn upon
her forehead waits here. Servant of the Grove, Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior
Lyreth is here. He wields a mystic cudgel in his left hand and a glowing
powerstone in his right. Hiriako Myeras is here, surrounded by whispering,
insubstantial figures that fade in and out of existence. He wields a cobalt-
bladed ritual dagger in his left hand and a stag and moon tower shield in his
right. Scax frowns deeply, lines creasing his forehead. He wields a silvered-
steel shofa in each hand. Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer spreads His roots across
the ground here. Moonlight Reverie, Arsalil Zayah is here. She wields an athame
dagger in her left hand. Sondayga Zayah, Heir of Glinshari is here, shrouded. He
wields an athame dagger in his left hand and a mystic cudgel in his right. Dasia,
the Daydreamer is here, wreathed in divine fire. She wields a paper fan painted
with fanciful wonders in her left hand and a delicate dreamcatcher in her right.
Lekius is here, shrouded. He wields an athame dagger in his left hand.
You see exits leading north, south, and through a vined stairway.
Deep in thought, Sondayga leans his cheek on his hand.
"I-I... hoom, My Daydreamer, that is a tremendous requestion," He echoes, weakly.
The chirping of crickets surrounds you in a medley of night-time music.
Responding to the scene they are witnessing, the trees bow in awe, sadness, and
concern.
Arsalil gives a pained sigh.
Sondayga Zayah, Heir of Glinshari places his hand on the nearest tree.
Sparkling motes of bright light surround the Moonhart Mother Tree.
Dasia, the Daydreamer whispers, "I have thought long and hard about this, my
Lord. I cannot seem to live as I once did, not now that I have felt loss."
Sondayga creases his brow in a frown.
Rauhaur steps out of the Moonhart Mother Tree, trailing sparkling motes of light.
A kephera nature warder touches his headdress in salute towards Rauhaur.
Rauhaur places his hands on the Moonhart Mother Tree and disappears in a
fountain of pulsating energy.
Exhaling, Dasia gazes skyward, pressing her hands close together and then
pulling them away to reveal a spark of fire. Dasia stares within the flame's
depths for a moment, appearing to be weighed down with sadness as the fire fades
into smoke.
A kephera nature warder exclaims, "Greetings, forest dweller!"
The Moonhart Mother Tree suddenly flares with pulsating energy as Rauhaur steps
through.
A centaur hunter raises his spear to Astrasia.
Astrasia inclines her head politely to those around her.
Midnight shadows coalesce around a new day, and Mother Night embraces the land
in utter darkness.
It is now the 9th of Kiani, 315 years after the Coming of Estarra.
Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "My kind, we are not meant to love. We feel it too
strongly, and when it is taken from us, my Lord, we are left so very weak."
A beam of moonlight comes down from the sky and bathes Hiriako in light.
The howl of a distant wolf momentarily silences the crickets.
Lyethal dances down a moonbeam and alights gently on the ground.
The body of Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman appears in a flash
and his soul descends to fill it, causing the previously expressionless face to
fill with emotion.
Lyethal jumps onto Hiriako.
Rauhaur gives Lyethal the once-over, eyeing him suspiciously.
Folding his wings so he can reach them easily, Lyethal preens his wings happily,
straightening out the disheveled feathers.
Vasnier peers about himself unscrupulously.
Lyethal flops himself into Rauhaur's arms.
Rauhaur growls menacingly at Lyethal.
"Oooooooooh!" Vasnier says to Dasia, eyes wide with wonder.
"Shh!" Arsalil says to Lyethal, putting a finger to her lips.
Vasnier bows respectfully to Hoaracle.
Vasnier throws back his head and howls like a wolf.
Eyes glistening, Dasia, the Daydreamer says to Hoaracle, "Please, do not deny my
request. I cannot abide being separated from him. Eliar's fate is my fault, my
Lord, and so I wish our fates to be the same."
Vasnier tilts his head curiously.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer Inhales sharply, holding back a loss of countenance
that is clearly manifesting upon His features. Indeed, tears form at the corner
of the God's eyes, golden like sap, like amber. "This is true," He states,
flatly, sadly. "But does not the manifold nature of ---." The God stops at
Dasia's new words.
Vasnier gives a horrified gasp.
Looking slightly worried at the situation, Vasnier quickly hides behind Scax.
Lekius says to Vasnier, "Please...just sit still."
You turn quickly as a twig snaps behind you.
Gently, Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer says, "My Daydreamer, you and Eliar did an
impossible thing..."
Bowing her head low, Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "And so we must pay the price
for it. He has burnt up, Lord. And I feel neither extinguished nor alive."
You are dismayed as a glowing moonflower turns to dust in your hands.
The wind whistles eerily through the trees.
Choking with tears, Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer says, "... I fear that you will
not allow Me any other choice..."
Attempting to make a joke, Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer says, "Dreams are
stubborn that way."
A wry smile spreads across Sondayga's face.
Arsalil smiles softly.
Dasia, the Daydreamer exhales, seeming relieved yet shaken by her Lord's reply.
She turns to see you and extends a hand, seeking the Silver Font's comfort.
Hiriako Myeras allows a slight smile to crack on his face, though sadness is
evident in his expression.
Vasnier tells you, "What's going on?"
You blink.
Eyes wet, Dasia, the Daydreamer whispers to you, "Please. Don't let go."
Sivas tells you, "GIVE HER A HUG."
You cringe pathetically.
Lekius smiles softly.
Xiran throws her arms around Dasia's neck.
You have recovered balance on all limbs.
The tears falling freely now, Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "I shall miss you, all
of you. I could never have known sadness like this, if I had never learned of
happiness from you."
Lyethal plays a rose-vine violin and directs the harmonious notes towards Dasia.
Dasia flushes with a healthy pink glow.
Lyethal creases his brow in a frown.
Saran smiles softly.
Sondayga crosses his arms over his torso, touching the opposite shoulders and
bowing his head in reverence to the White Hart for a moment. A soft flowing
sound reaches your ears, as you watch a spirit totem shimmer into existence.
Lekius says, "You will be missed, Dasia, the Forest will make sure You are
remembered fondly."
The healing presence of Sondayga's spirit totem washes over you.
Vasnier snuffles softly.
Lyethal folds his wings around Dasia's body, wrapping her in a feathered embrace.
Lyethal positions himself in front of Dasia, prepared to ward off all dangers.
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman says to Dasia, "You will remained
loved by all of us."
The healing presence of Sondayga's spirit totem washes over you.
Sivas nods his head eagerly at Dasia.
She is a radiant immortal and hides her face behind thick, unruly blonde curls
that dominate her pixie features. Various leaves and flowers tangle within her
hair, their vibrant colours startling against the paler shade of yellow. No
larger than a small child, her willowy body possesses a weathered, bark-like

imbalance her otherwise delicate features.
The healing presence of Sondayga's spirit totem washes over you.
Scax smiles softly.
Dasia, the Daydreamer clings to you, gasping slightly as she tries to laugh.
Relief starts to course through her and she gazes up at the Moonhart, erratic
motes of colour suddenly surrounding her petite form.
Moonlight Reverie, Arsalil Zayah wipes a few tears from her cheek.
The healing presence of Sondayga's spirit totem washes over you.
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman attempts to blink away on-coming
tears.
Lekius smiles softly at Dasia.
Sondayga Zayah, Heir of Glinshari bows his head and makes the sign of White Hart
towards Dasia "Let you pass peacefully and the spirits be with you".
Sondayga removes a deep black fedora hat with a symbol of the full moon.
Kreon lowers the hood on a forestal green greatrobe.
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane says to Dasia, "Do you
have to go?"
Vasnier lowers the hood on silken robes of the Hoaracean.
The healing presence of Sondayga's spirit totem washes over you.
Closing His eyes, Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer says, "Small ones, you treat My
Daydreamer with such love that only you could ever bare and express. While the
love Me and My kin possess is eternal, yours' touches something I could meditate
upon for eons and never comprehend."
The healing presence of Sondayga's spirit totem washes over you.
Lekius smiles softly.
Arsalil smiles softly at Hoaracle.
Dasia, the Daydreamer whispers to Lyethal, "Oh, Lye. I'll never be gone, not
really. If you only remember me, as I shall always try to remember you."
Hiriako Myeras says, "Some people are hard to forget, Daydreamer."
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane says to Dasia, "I'll never
forget you Dasia...never!"
Lyethal sniffles softly.
Dasia, the Daydreamer reaches up to catch one of the Lord Dreamer's tears as
they fall from the Elder's cheek, whispering, "Please do not cry for me, my Lord.
I cannot bear to see it."
Lyethal folds his wings around Dasia's body, wrapping her in a feathered embrace.
Xiran blinks, looking to the motes of colour enveloping Dasia
with concern.
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman says, "You will not be remembered,
you will be honoured and revered."
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane says, "Dasia.."
Sivas removes a wide brimmed flat-top hat.
Arsalil lowers the hood on shimmering silken silver robes.
Lekius removes a cute acorn-top hat.
Vasnier removes a black leather plague mask.
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane plucks one of his feathers
from his wings, one of the longest and more pristine feathers in his entire
wingspan, offering it to Dasia "..Can you take this with you?"
The healing presence of Sondayga's spirit totem washes over you.
Laughing very quietly, Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "I, I ah, was given a gift
once. I do not suppose I'll need it any longer, but maybe."
A sudden wind surges in from the up, gusting throughout the vicinity as Enyalida
fades into view.
Enyalida inclines her head politely to those around her.
A spirit totem wavers fitfully, the healing waves around it diminishing, then
finally shimmers out of existence, its power spent.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer grasps Dasia's hand and clenches it tightly. "Make
your last goodbyes, My dear," He chokes.
Dasia gives a painting of Dasia to Hiriako Myeras.
The sky lightens and stars fade as Father Sun approaches the horizon in his
neverending quest to capture Mother Night.
Birds fill your ears with serenades of happiness and love.
Trying very hard to laugh, Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "I know what I look like,
you see? I can see it in every river."
Enyalida drops an antiqued, gilt-framed looking glass.
An antiqued, gilt-framed looking glass spins about in the air as it unfolds
itself with a series of clicks, slowly stilling as it remains floating just
above the ground.
Enyalida nods her head emphatically.
Vasnier drops a master's paint palette.
Cutting wood into sturdy boards, Vasnier assembles a frame. He then stretches a
cloth over the frame until he holds a perfect canvas, suitable for painting a
work of art.
With a careful eye, Vasnier balances a palette of paints in one hand and props a
canvas on his knee. After pondering Dasia's profile, he attacks the canvas with
furious brush strokes and soon has created a painting of Dasia.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer whispers to Dasia, "Ready, hoom?"
Kamikaze Kitten Scax Zayah says to Dasia, "Stay strong Lady, and remember that
no matter where You may go, we will always be with You and You always with us."
Vasnier gives a master's paint palette to Sondayga Zayah, Heir of Glinshari.
Hiriako Myeras brings his hand up, gently clasping Dasia's hand as she gives
this gift. "Thank you, Dasia. I..." He stands there, choked up.
Arsalil gives Dasia a compassionate hug.
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane says to Hoaracle, "Lord,
is there anyway she can stay longer with us.."
Sondayga clasps his hands and bows deeply to Dasia before forming the sign of
the White Hart, intoning, "May the Spirits guide you, child of the Forest."
Lekius pats Hiriako in a friendly manner.
Her voice wavering, but eyes suddenly shining with promise, Dasia, the
Daydreamer says, "I am ready, my Lord. I am ready to meet with him."
Xiran hugs Dasia tightly, squeezing her eyes shut.
Arsalil chews on her lip, deep in thought.
Dasia embraces you with great ardour.
Kreon wraps a comforting arm around Arsalil.
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman sobs silently.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer turns to Lyethal with a sad smile. "If there were,
I would try. But it was Her request, small one, and that is what must be
honoured this day," He intones.
Lyethal snuffles softly.
Lyethal nods his head emphatically.
Lyethal gives Dasia a compassionate hug.
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane says, "We love you lots
Dasia..."
Lekius nods his head emphatically.
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman says to Dasia, "You will be
missed, but remembered."
Arsalil nods her head sagely.
With tears welling at the corner of his eyes, Hiriako Myeras says, "We shall
miss you, Dasia. Thank you."
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman says to Dasia, "With love, of
course."
Sivas Zayah says to Dasia, "Be strong Lady Divine."
Symphonist Kreon Zayah, Melody of the Seasons says to Dasia, "Farewell Dasia, I
will always remember our fun times of vengeance."
Kreon smiles softly.
Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "I am eternally grateful, to all of you."
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman says, "And us to you."
Scax nods his head in agreement.
Showing that He understands, Hoaracle nods His head slowly.
Turning to her Lord, Dasia, the Daydreamer says, "Never has anyone in such a
short time been loved so very much."
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer tries to take some solace at Dasia's words, smiling
softly, sadly.
The colours surrounding the Daydreamer begin to move more swiftly, changing
shade and hue erratically.
The light spread of cloud overhead fluffs up into sparse cotton bodies.
A squirrel skitters through the treetops somewhere above.
Vasnier sniffles softly.
With a sharp exhale, the God steels Himself, looking upon the Ephemeral with
sadness and love. "Dream your last dream, My Daydreamer. Dream of Eliar, hoom,"
He whispers.
Enyalida closes her eyes and tilts her head to the sky. A few thin wisps of
cloud form here.
Enyalida takes a drink from a shimmering rainbow vial.
Sparkling motes of bright light surround the Moonhart Mother Tree.
Dasia, the Daydreamer shuts her eyes tightly, a sudden peace overtaking her. The
breeze begins to pick up, wafting the scent of rosebuds and hyacinths through
the area.
forecast
There is a moderate breeze here.
Thick dreamy cotton clouds are spread across the firmament.
It is quite mild.
A young wyvern glides in from the ether on his wings.
The Moonhart Mother Tree.
There is a light drizzle of rain.
Towering high above is the Moonhart Mother Tree, stretching her enormous
branches heavenwards. Reaching up as high as the eye can see looms the awesome
presence of a living totem. There are 4 armoured owls here. There are 12 centaur
hunters here. There are 6 buckets here. There are 3 fierce timberwolves here. A
birch sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here. There are 14 kephera nature
warders here. There are 2 small screech owls here. Hovering over a raised dais
are two silver arrows, their long shafts crossed with the points aimed skywards.
An illustrated canvas hangs in the air here, supported by silvery ribbons. A
striped badger is here, licking its paws. A ceremonial fire crackles here,
sending orange sparks swirling upwards. Its petals glistening with ice, a
delicate snoefaasia orchid grows here from a clump of snow. In the shape of an
open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. There are 2 armoured badgers here. A moon
maiden floats here, her form swathed in glowing cloth. Watching you warily, a
silver-furred vixen sniffs the air. An elfen guard strolls here, alert and
vigilant. A platinum eye sigil is here. A blackened parchment is crinkled up on
the ground here. Gnawing on the leather bit of her reins, a shaggy, phlegmatic
war goat with a single black horn upon her forehead waits here. A black phoenix
perches here, her fiery plumage illuminating the area with black sparks. An
antiqued, gilt-framed looking glass hangs here upon thin air, its surface
brightly reflecting its surroundings. A young wyvern flaps his wings about here.
Astrasia Starleaf is here. She wields a mystic cudgel in her left hand. Hiriako
Myeras is here, surrounded by whispering, insubstantial figures that fade in and
out of existence. He wields a cobalt-bladed ritual dagger in his left hand and a
stag and moon tower shield in his right. Servant of the Grove, Saran Starleaf,
Ays Civalior Lyreth is here. He wields a mystic cudgel in his left hand and a
glowing powerstone in his right. Sivas Zayah is here, shrouded. He wields an
athame dagger in his left hand and a crystal-inlaid greatshield in his right.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer spreads His roots across the ground here. Kamikaze
Kitten Scax Zayah is here, shrouded. He wields a silvered-steel shofa in each
hand. Serenguard Rivius Tarsuhl is here, shrouded. He wields a loboshigaru
rapier in tribute to Volkh's spirit in his left hand and a loboshigaru rapier in
tribute to Loboshi's courage in his right. Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal
Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane is here. He wields a rose-vine violin in his left hand
and a glowing powerstone in his right. Sondayga Zayah, Heir of Glinshari is here,
shrouded. He wields an athame dagger in his left hand and a mystic cudgel in
his right. Dasia, the Daydreamer is here, wreathed in divine fire. She wields a
paper fan painted with fanciful wonders in her left hand and a delicate
dreamcatcher in her right. Lekius is here, shrouded. He wields an athame dagger
in his left hand. Symphonist Kreon Zayah, Melody of the Seasons is here,
shrouded. He wields a simple wooden violin of the Forest Dreamer in his left
hand and a white-gold bone shield in his right. Unblooded Rauhaur, Keep of Aerys
is here. Shamanka Enyalida Zayah stands here with the wind whipping furiously at
her form. She wields a mystic cudgel in her left hand and a riveted triangular
shield in her right. Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman is here. He
wields a mystic cudgel in his left hand and a glowing powerstone in his right.
Tuner of Illusions, Arafinwe, The Hidden Note is here, shrouded. He wields a
vine-woven mahogany lyre in his left hand. Moonlight Reverie, Arsalil Zayah is
here. She wields an athame dagger in her left hand.
You see exits leading north, south, and through a vined stairway.
"Wow!" Arafinwe exclaims!
The musky scent of loam and leaves fills you with vibrancy.
Lyethal plays a rose-vine violin and directs the harmonious notes towards Dasia.
Dasia flushes with a healthy pink glow.
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane says, "May the music of
the forest stay with you..."
Lyethal creases his brow in a frown.
Vasnier inhales deeply and ponders Dasia, before releasing a loud rumble,
producing a characteristic 'hoom' as the air leaves his lungs.
Sondayga cups his hands, and a silvery liquid light fills them. He brings his
cupped hands toward Dasia, and the light springs up to wreath around her, taking
the form of silvery ethereal vines before fading with a gentle glow.
Letting the moment linger for just a moment, the God gently blows a stream of
air toward Dasia, a simple, peaceful action.
Sondayga creases his brow in a frown.
You tell Tuner of Illusions, Arafinwe, The Hidden Note, "I fear Dasia has asked
her thread to be cut by Lord Hoaracle. And He must honour her wish."
Arafinwe tells you, "What?"
Arafinwe tells you, "Why would . . ."
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman buries his face in Scax's fur.
Sivas pats Vasnier in a friendly manner.
Scax wraps a comforting arm around Vasnier.
You tell Tuner of Illusions, Arafinwe, The Hidden Note, "I fear her beloved
Reveller of Lord-and-Lady Mysrai must have had his thread cut. And the sadness
was too much for her."
The ephemeral's form begins to quiver, unraveling into various ribbons of light.
Prismatic in hue, streaks of blue, scarlet, lavender, and gold soar up towards
the sky like the very motes of dreams, which fall from the outstretched Silver
Font's hand towards the heavens.
Glorious rays of morning light burst forth from Father Sun's crown as it peeks
over the world's edge, announcing a bright and shining new dawn.
Gentle rain clouds gather, and the light streaming from the sun as it rises
catches the sprinkle, forming a great and arching rainbow that hangs above the
Moonhart Mother Tree
In a swirl of blue fire, a gentle spirit stag leaps out of the Flame of
dae'Seren upon Enyalida and prances in a slow circle before fading.
Kamikaze Kitten Scax Zayah whispers to Vasnier, "Do not be so sad, She goes to
meet Her love."
Enyalida smiles softly.
The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Rivius's lips.
Vasnier mutters discontentedly.
Looking downtrodden, Sivas sadly shakes his head.
Hoaracle smiles sadly, a wistful look in His eyes.
Kreon smiles softly.
You open your mouth but say nothing.
Arafinwe tells you, "This is unfortunate . . ."
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman says, "They were cute together."
Lekius says to Hoaracle, "I am sorry, My Lord..."
Sivas Zayah says, "They are cute together."
Sivas nods his head at Vasnier.
Lyethal creases his brow in a frown.
Lyethal sniffles softly.
Hiriako Myeras says, "The loss of a friend is always sad, no matter why. I only
hope that she is happy."
Lyethal folds his wings around his body, wrapping himself in a feathered embrace.
Saran smiles softly.
Moonlight Reverie, Arsalil Zayah wipes the last of the tears from her face and
gazes at the beautiful rainbow.
Birds fill your ears with serenades of happiness and love.
Kreon wraps a comforting arm around Arsalil.
Lekius pats you in a friendly manner.
Enyalida pats Arafinwe in a friendly manner.
Enyalida gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
Tuner of Illusions, Arafinwe, The Hidden Note bows his head solemly.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer swallows hard, holding back tears. "Yes... She is
happy," He utters in a warble.
Arsalil gives a pained sigh.
Dreaming Druid, Vasnier Zayah, Eleana's Shaman grunts, rousing himself to walk
off.
Vasnier leaves to the north.
A kephera nature warder touches his headdress in salute towards Vasnier as he
leaves.
Sivas sits down.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer says, "I-I... must return to My dreams, small ones.
If you could excuse Me, hoom."
Shamanka Enyalida Zayah says, "People come and go. It has happened before and
has happened again. Those that we miss have a funny way of returning."
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane says, "Lord.."

Arsalil curtseys respectfully before Hoaracle.

Hoaracle.

Lekius bows respectfully to Hoaracle.
Rauhaur nods his head at Hoaracle.
Arsalil raises the hood on shimmering silken silver robes.
Serenguard Rivius Tarsuhl says, "Lord...rest well.."
Symphonist Kreon Zayah, Melody of the Seasons says, "Rest Well Lord."
Sondayga nods his head emphatically.
Enchanting Songbird, Lyethal Silverwolf, Cuirr Arrane says to Hoaracle, "To help
you dream.."
Moonlight Reverie, Arsalil Zayah says to Hoaracle, "Sweet dreams, my Lord."
Xiran manages a jerky bow before Hoaracle.
Rivius slips into a mercenary greathelm.

Saran bows respectfully to Hoaracle.
Hiriako Myeras says, "Be...be well, Lord."
Faintly, like a whisper upon the breeze, you hear a girl's soft laughter ringing
like bells, accompanied by the deeper chuckles of a young man. But then the
sounds are gone, and only the chirping of the birds remain.
Sondayga smiles softly.
Arsalil's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.
Lekius says to Enyalida, "If only that were true in this case."
Enyalida gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
A single teardrop coalesces in the corner of Rivius's eyes.
Rivius smiles softly.
Shamanka Enyalida Zayah says, "You would be suprised."
The weaving sounds of quick and slow drumbeats echo across the forest.
Hoaracle sniffles softly.
Lekius says, "If you can point me to anyone thing that has come back from their
thread being cut."
The weaving sounds of quick and slow drumbeats echo across the forest.
Lekius says, "I will give you a million sovereigns."
Shamanka Enyalida Zayah says, "We have spent the last few months sitting in
trance, in the dreaming even threads that are cut are still present in their way."
The weaving sounds of quick and slow drumbeats echo across the forest.
A soft breeze swirls here, bringing notes of ethereal music.
Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer waves a branch-like hand at everyone assembled,
before turning to the newly-formed rainbow.
Birdsong and the rustling of leaves murmur through the aether as Hoaracle, the
Forest Dreamer fades out of the surrounding environment.
The weaving sounds of quick and slow drumbeats echo across the forest.
Kamikaze Kitten Scax Zayah says, "She is happy and this should lighten all of
our hearts, for what is life without happiness?"
Enyalida gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
Lyethal lifts a hand languidly and sends a moonbeam off to the distance.
Arsalil's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.
Sondayga nods his head emphatically.
Lyethal gently rises into the air and disappears along a moonbeam.
Vasnier arrives from the north.
You murmur softly to yourself.

This was a very lovely log. Thank you for sharing. :)
Arsalil2012-01-12 21:39:44
I'm so glad you posted this Xiran! I had been asking around to see if anyone had saved the log. It was a very sad moment, but I'm glad I got to be a part of it.

Dangit, that made me tear up a little.

Glomdoring. AFICT, Emphs do their Emphing in the org opposite of the one they end up as a god in. Hence Eliar vanishing right before Zvoltz turns up and whatshisname in Hallifax being around before Mysrai.
Eritheyl2012-02-02 17:18:02
I think that might just be a coincidence. Was there an Ephemeral in Glomdoring before Hoaracle came around?
Unknown2012-02-02 18:07:37
I think our Ephs are all background, heh. Same with our Divines - usually! We absolutely love the silentstares of Nocht and the random interactions with Shikari through his e-kid and the, er, favors from Vira.

I love the Shikari kid. She is so much fun. I think the thing I miss most about actively playing in Glomdoring is the times when she would pop up and start a conversation with my guy. ^_^

Where an ephemeral works is in no way an indication of where he or she will work as a god.

So is this the part where Serenwilde flips out and kills Mysrai?

This isn't really how it works.
An Ephemeral will generally be put in the organization opposite of where they played, to give them a 'different view of the game' (it is an attempt to break the ephemeral of any lasting biases against the Enemy, may they fry forever).
Once they graduate they can choose any organization to go to that they want to. Some may go back to their original, some may go to the one they've been Ephemeraling in, and some may just shake it up and go somewhere else entirely!

Also, we almost are never introduced to our ephemerals. I believe there have only been two... maybe three... introduced to us in all the years I've been playing and they never actually interacted at all. One of them did get turned into an NPC though (hello Gorky, the leering gnomish builder who noms on licorice).

Plus, don't forget Kidaen, the Ephemeral Bard pretty active in 2005-2006.
