I've played a version of this "game" elsewhere before, where in addition to getting your random power, you also come up with a name for a hero who has that power (you MUST use the first name that comes into your head, no matter how stupid) and a one sentence backstory/description of the character. I've seen it come up with some hilarious/awesome things.

Velocity manipulation. Awesome. Pretty epic things could happen with this power.... Like, say, infusing immortals enough velocity in an out-earth direction to escape the solar system. Or anyone else straight down. Gosh, talk about endless posibilities.

I tried to do a new one so I could make up a character name that wasn't influenced by other characters with the power (like Goku SPIRIT BOMB) and I ended up with...

Yeah, so far I've got Nigh-Omnipresence, Mustelid Mimicry and Luck Bestowment, but also Quantum Manipulation and Blindsight.

I got Prehensile Hair, which could actually be pretty badass for the surprise strangle, depending on how strong it was :P

That actually is an awesome superpower. It opens the doors to so many other superpowers and is believed to be the building block to all elemental abilities? Nil ya!
