Well, forests have totems.

Or bring in fae, though expect to potentially get jumped depending on which commune you're from.

Totems are also a major pain in the ass, if you have someone who wants to take them down. Luckily, we have something of an understanding with... everyone else, or they'd be down ALL THE TIME. It's just not possible to get all of them immediately as they turn back into elders, even if we had 3 druids on at all times. It's also just not possible to defend all of the entrances in a forest. It's also just not possible to keep growing moonhart/ravenwood trees from being chopped down if someone wants to chop them. I wish they'd make the things simpler/less annoying, gave us less power for them, and gave us better ways to get power.

Oh gods, not this again.

Originally we didn't even get those creatures. Having them sometimes is better than not ever having them.

We need Lord Auseklis back so He can make more posts telling the cities how ridiculous it is to claim entire elemental planes as theirs. (Of course, that was back when there weren't loyal things on the planes you could kill, and cities couldn't just distort an entire plane so they could kill you for tresspassing. so the argument doesn't work anymore.)

IDEA: Ban the discussion of totemcarving and statueenchanting in all forum topics which do not have the words "Totem" or "Statue" in the thread title. These derails are just silly.

I think people are influence-camping Lord Horacle's godrealm denizens. They'e never there for me to influence. But that's probably a good idea, so I don't feel bad. Much.

Darn this secret page nonsense.

That's by design. You're supposed to influence them every time they reappear as the only effective way of protecting them. We were told this explicitly when the now-moribund Godwar system went in. Their reset time after a successful empower is significantly longer than usual specifically to make it so you don't have to do this as often, since it was "yet another thing you have to do, instead of what you want to be doing" at the time.
