Change the warrior swing percentages to 70/15/15 would be the only thing I urge. Or change the swings to only hit two limbs with a 75/25 split (there are enough swings to easily do this) so that everything is pretty much standardised on swing hit percentages.

Magi TKs have vessels as their "thing", Druids have sap as their "thing"... getting rid of sap will need to place something else, equally substantial in place - perhaps with several skills even. An aeon-like delay effect is just powerful and a single-skill addition. So I'm fine with sap and improvements to it.

From an rper/infuencer prespective, I like the RP suggestions. I'd probably take all of those except for the race one. Just not sure allowing people to be gnomes or centaurs is a good idea.

Ixion:
Untouched by age: Lets the Demi set their own age, a'la Shadowdance Penumbra does this mean adjust 'starting/char creation age' only? If so yes, otherwise not a fan
This would let them set their apparent age, not their age. Behind the scenes, they would still have the same birthday and the same birthyear; they would just be a different age on their honors. Much like how Penumbra works now. For instance:
He is 18 years old, having been born on the 2nd of Tzarin, 161 years after the Coming of Estarra.
Ixion2012-01-30 12:43:06
What are the limits on that age 13-XX?
Druken2012-01-30 13:03:49
I think the race idea started primarily as a means of "hiding" the demigod moniker. For example, if I wanted to fly incognito for a little while in a room full of novices, I'd set my race to be faeling, rather than demigod faeling. The "extra" races would just be for the same flavour. It's really just a glamour option, but heightened a little to get rid of the "demigod" adjective.

Penumbra always shows an age of 18, even if you're younger. The age-limits on the proposed Demi-power would be up to Estarra&co, I'd imagine (but I guess the lowest age would coincide with the youngest age possible, which I think is 13?).
Turnus2012-01-30 13:58:07
Honestly, the apparent age thing just seems silly and a bit annoying more than anything else. Don't get the huge obsession over it either.

Allow the purchase of additional demigod weight with gold, institute a soft cap with this, starting with something reasonable like 200k = 10 weight and then increase from there. should be essence cost instead
I think the purpose of this was to remove some gold from the game and make gold worth more.
Ssaliss2012-01-30 22:18:08
I think 200k for 10 weight is a little small, to be honest. It'd take 360k per weight to buy credits for the manna at 10k per credit. And if it tops out at 20 extra weight, it'd not amount to a whole lot of gold per demi.

I recommend 100k per point of weight, capping out at 20 extra.
Ssaliss2012-01-30 22:39:16
I wouldn't mind letting it range from 100k to 290k per weight myself, with every extra weight adding 10k to the cost.

They're just sample numbers heh. It's the idea that counts.

Mn, well to me, the extra races idea was more for a nifty semi-remort/motivator option than getting rid of the demigod label, but that would be cool too.

I have a lot of misgivings about some of the demi powers, like the age one and the race one, but I feel that the inherent silliness in them won't escape the admins and that they will be denied out of hand, so I don't feel like I should really bother making huge arguments against them.
EDIT: I'd be really cool with masking the fact that I'm a demigod, or even being able to innately cast changeself on myself as a demigod. Not okay with picking ANY race, on a totally custom basis.

Oh, come on. How are we supposed to have that Two-headed Eagle Druid we always wanted? Or how about an Archdemon Cantor? Or how about that Scorpion Monk (scorpions can kick six times, right?)? The possibilities are endless! :P
Ssaliss2012-01-30 23:33:58
I'm not sure where you got "completely custom" from, but the description of it sounds more like playable races, and perhaps a few non-playable thrown in for good measure (like gnomes, finks etc). Not "teehee I want to play a wet water nymph *giggle*".

Here? I don't think there are many non-playable races that they want people running around being, so 'a few more' sounds a bunch like 'everyone lobby for their favorite npc type'

I was thinking more along the lines of say, gnome, fink, sileni (time-shenanigans could happen you never know), slivven (they have to come from from somewhere, they've a crashed ship on muckle) and centaurs.

Right. Slivven warrior! I can wield my weapons! With my arms!
I don't think they are going to go for non-playables. Too much potential for stoopid.
