Being one of the most densely populated areas on Earth, I'm sure there's a few Lusternians around! So who wants to have a meet? Let's get a head count first and then we can set a date :D

I know I'm all over the London meet, and I'm not trying to be selfish, but I'll be in New York for a few days from the third of May - over that weekend, really. I'd TOTALLY come to a meet if it was then. Otherwise, pics!

I might come if it's during my spring break (March 16-26 ish), or if it's during a weekend.

I could possibly come, but NY is a pretty far hike for just myself, and for just to see Lusternians (sorry...). Might be able to convince husband to make a trip of it and sightsee...or something. Wed/Thur/Fri are out for me, I have classes on em.

I very rarely play any more, but I live up in CT and love any excuse to travel down to the city. Weekends are best, as it's still ~2hrs travel time.

Just for everyone's edification, it will definitely be on a Saturday. The traffic into the city is nearly non-existent on the weekends, so that'd be the best time

Also: This is NOT going to be a boring "meet at a resturaunt, eat and drink away your social anxiety and then leave" type of meet. We're gonna be getting together to have fun! Plans include the Met, central park, wandering aimlessly through Times Square and any other ideas anyone can come up with! I'm thinking that we can all meet up at Central Park, because there's a lot for people to do there and it's absolutely gorgeous. Any other ideas are welcome as well!

Not committing to going, but the idea of Revan at the Met is amusing enough to consider it.

Also guys, don't drive in if you can help it. It's not just traffic, it's parking. MTA/NJT are your friends.

I am a short train ride away, but usually working saturdays and also SOCIAL ANXIETY. I'll think about it.

Ooh. If it helps with social anxiety, realize that we're probably going to all be socially awkward. :D

Alright, since we have a pretty decent sized group of people... how does everyone feel about March 24th? We'll meet at Columbus Circle in Central Park around 11am to get things started. Thoughts?

Also.. if you have questions or concerns about transportation within the city, let me or Talan know (cuz apparently she's super familiar with it). And yes, if possible, take a bus or train to get in, otherwise you'll pay $50 for parking :<

I can do the 24th I think. 2 weeks notice should be enough time to make sure I get the day off.

Even though I live right outside the city I very rarily visit it, usually for school or visiting family. Suppose this is as good excuse as any to actually go for fun.

Can't do the 24th for a variety of reasons (none of which relate to the date in question). One of these days I'll make it to a meetup.

Summer! Well, after classes end for the year, since I don't think I'll be taking summer courses. Which makes it easier to figure out dates, since it becomes even more anytime. Also, Summer = people come to the shore, and if I leave the shore....I don't have to be near them. *sagenod* Of course, there are places here that might make for a nice meeting place, but I erm, don't coordinate people well.

Summer always works into my schedule as well.

After chatting it up with Kelly, I will totally fly out that way if this is still going on. Got to put that tax return back into the economy!
