So what do you guys think of the new artifact packages? Is there anything that you want added? Any issues?
--
The shop keepers package needs to be updated. It's 750 for a new shop, with 350 for a merchant's ledger, meaning 1100 credits. The package puts the shop at 1k. So the pricing should be tweaked a little bit.
Edit:
another issue is over the "Home Sweet Home" Artifact. In comparison with lets say the "Vial Package" at 200 credits, if those 200 credits were instead bought and sold, at the current market at 10k each they would sell for 2 mill instead of the 1.85 mill target for a non-artifact package that is $6 more. It would be great if this could be cheaper, that is the "HSH" artifact in the price range.

My issue is the simple fact that I'm meant to be saving money while I'm studying, not spending it! =p
Also your equations are a bit off, since people have been buying the czigany packages, credits have FLOODED the market and the sale price is currently back down around the 7000 gold mark, though only time will tell if it stays down there or not. (Ok, now they are back up around the 10k mark again. They are going up and down like a yo-yo at present)
EDIT: Also don't forget that 200 credits under normal circumstances would cost $70, so they are already knocking $30 off the price.

Someone sold 1 credit for 10 gold, that was the thing that gave you 7000 average, I think. I know this because I bought that 1 credit!
EDIT: I was just thinking that the 10 gold credit may have been a comma mistake on some ones part, or just an eccentric Lusternian Millionaire!

If you are noticing an error in price with artifact packages (ie the shop packages), you should ISSUE that or e-mail artifacts@lusternia.com, not post it to the forums. Posting something to the forums doesn't guarantee that Estarra will hear about it.

Gogo some type of liquidrift expansion package!
Iosai2012-03-01 22:49:34
Estarra has now reduced the price of the shopkeeper package, for all those concerned.

How about an Endowment of the Arts + Doctoral Cord package? I know there's one with the pliers but not everyone might want the pliers.
Sakr2012-03-02 00:40:44
Can dingbat items be added to the artifact packages list as well? For example "Dolls Collector" would include 5 different dolls, maybe include the no longer released ones as well. Or "Aether Farm" would give 4 or 5 aether copse gems, "Aether Mine" would give the gem and silver mines. I personally would find more interest in buying an aether mine package than some of the other artifact packages available. But that's just me.

Eyeing the vials package as is, but I really don't need five. A few of those and a liquidrift expansion would be tasty, though.
Unsure why I buy artifacts for the sole purpose of making it more convenient to NOT play the game, but oh well, I always come back eventually!

How long are the packages around for?
I'd like to know a concrete answer from an admin as I have my eye on a couple of packages but am on an EXTREMELY tight budget due to being a student, the last thing I want is to think I have time scraping a bit here and there only to go and buy the pack and *poof*, they are no longer available.

Packages are usually around for a month, at least. Like the lesson sale, they usually extend it, and make ample warning/urging. Email Estarra if you want to be sure.
Unknown2012-03-02 23:56:17
I really wish they would extend it. Looking at my budget for the month... I totally can't afford it this month but would easily drop between $150 and $300 next month when I can afford to again.
Unknown2012-03-03 00:25:16
I would be curious if they tried it as a year-long or a set-calendar thing ie- march will always be this promo, april that promo etc., would be easier to budget for if you knew it was coming.

If you know beforehand that you'll be able to buy something within a reasonable timeframe after a sale ends, you could try emailing Estarra and set something up. Far from guaranteed, but it couldn't hurt to try.

What about suggestions for packages? Should those go under ISSUE or IDEA? Or should they be mailed?

There was a thread for package suggestions last time which I believe Estarra looked at and took suggestions from. You could try that again! :)

You can make suggestions on this thread!

Too Slippery to Get Package
Burn and Blow Package
Safety and Preparedness Package
Can we not have packages that sound vaguely like they are related to lewd acts? :P
Could we have a package with the Aetheric Quickening and Power rings? I know they are in a package together, but I don't necessarily want a cubix alongside them.

And this is why I love Lusternia.
