The standardbearer system was a lot of fun last night. Through coincidence or design, it created a situation where coordination and being "set up for bashing", yielded a good result for the effort, as opposed to just pouring on the bashing attacks and hoping things don't get out of hand.

That said, we gave it a pretty damn robust going over, with a near perfect storm set up, complete with aegis, drunk, numened dwarf, Viynain healing, gaudi and celest bard songs (for a while at least), and a number of people who could deal out enough hurt to bring down the crazy linked mobs.

Thanks to all the above, I only died once when I think I got insta'd by pure bleeding- I was constantly bleeding for 3k doing abhorrences. We switched to urns, and still had very few deaths considering what we were bashing. Something like 3-4 for the night total.

Overall, it was pretty brutal on my willpower as well, even with a rune. But it was a lot of fun- however, as a warning, it is pretty resource intensive for the standard bearer- herbs, healing, amberbeeer/darkbeer, not to mention that I mostly cooked off my reserves doing it. Still, it was the most unique thing I've done mechanics wise in a long time!

Know what bufr you were missing in there Akui? Stag Sacrifice. I have not tried it yet, buy it soundd like with standard bearer, it might actually be safe to use.

So many new toys and so many new ABs and updates to be added to my wiki. <3 and big thanks to the folk who helped provide the information I sought!

Now I'm just missing the Magnagoran typecasts, but I'm sure more will come from the Divine putting in more choice look/enter/exit/etc. messages to their cities/communes/guilds/orders. Hopefully people won't be too annoyed with me when I come to bother them!
