ab cavalier joust

There is no help file on that ability.
(And you call me a tease)

Turnus:

Will flexing out cavalier let you keep the benefits of bonding, or does that cause it to be lost?

I asked, I was told that as long as you didn't forget it permanently the bond should stay. It would be pretty awful if it lost those abilities in specific when you flex it.

We didn't say 'should', we said 'maybe'.

CAVALIER - JAGGEDWOUND

Bodypart: Chest, Gut
Minimum Wound State: Heavy (chest), Medium (gut)
Maneuver: Jab, polearm
Mounted: Yes

A jagged wound through your opponent's midriff will bleed profusely.

CAVALIER - FARGUARD

Syntax: GUARD
Mounted: Yes

From your vantage point atop your noble steed, you can see the battle
raging around you. By carefully watching those who would attack your
ally, you can slip in a quick jab at the aggressor before they attack
your friend. You will be more likely to notice a weak defence in those
attacking your allies than if you were to guard yourself.
Xenthos2012-05-13 00:47:32
CAVALIER - HEFT

Syntax: HEFT

The length of a polearm transforms a simple attack into a complicated
maneuver requiring training and timing. If you heft your polearm before
you strike, you will be able to land a far more powerful blow than
otherwise, using its momentum to wreak havoc. A hefted jab will do more
wounding and be more likely to land devastating afflictions, while a
hefted swing will have a real chance to power through the first limb it
strikes and hit another. Note that it can hit a limb not available
within not bashing maneuvers, as it follows the natural curve of the
attack.
Unknown2012-05-13 00:51:09
Syntax: SKEWER
Power: 4 (any)

If your target is sufficiently incapacitated, notably with a crushed
chest and a severed spine, you may impale them right through their
ribcage for a fatal strike.

:)
Xenthos2012-05-13 00:54:36
CAVALIER - IMPALE

Bodypart: Gut
Minimum Wound State: Heavy
Maneuver: Jab, polearm
Mounted: Yes

This maneuver will drive your polearm completely through your opponent's
gut and impale him or her into the ground. To remove your weapon, you
may use the following syntaxes:

Syntax: WITHDRAW
CAVALIER - RECOVERY

Syntax: RECOVER STRIKES
Power: 2 (any)

For a short while, you can tense your muscles in preparation to recover
strikes that miss. If you jab at your target and miss, you will be able
to bring the shaft of your weapon around for a second swing.
Unknown2012-05-13 00:55:49
So, are polearms one-handed or two?
Iosai2012-05-13 00:57:52
Two-handed.
Xenthos2012-05-13 00:59:21
CAVALIER - PINCHARGE

Syntax: STEED PINCHARGE
Power: 2 (any)

Charge at your target with your polearm ready to knock them down and
impale them viciously through the gut.
Turnus2012-05-13 00:59:52
Sounds like two-handed weapons but the potential to hit twice like one-handed. Seems pretty cool.
Unknown2012-05-13 01:08:36
Still doesn't seem that great offensively aside from LoS impale in groups, and all the cool mount stuff. They get sweet knockdown at least,so that helps.

The lack of locking via windpipe/slit should be looked at in a report.

Full list:

CAVALIER - POLEARMS

You are now a master of two-handed polearms, and will notice a drastic
improvement while using them. Unlike other weapons, attacks with
polearms use both sharp and blunt techniques. Jabs and strikes are
performed with the tip for cutting damage, while swings and bashes are
performed with the shaft for blunt damage.

CAVALIER - LACERATEARM

Bodypart: Arms
Minimum Wound State: Negligible
Maneuver: Jab, polearm
Mounted: No

Lacerating a major artery in the arm induces very major bleeding.
7406h, 7269m, 8395e, 10p, 25145en, 25145w elrxk<>-
CAVALIER - LACERATELEG

Bodypart: Legs
Minimum Wound State: Negligible
Maneuver: Jab, polearm

CAVALIER - STEED

Syntax: STEED BOND
STEED UNBOND
Power: 10 (Any)

You may now forge a permanent bond with your beast, taking it on as your
noble steed. This strong connection between man and beast increases its
level, and grants the inherent abilities of mount, gallop, trot, and
kicking. If the bond is lost, these abilities will be forgotten in the
trauma.

Your polearm abilities will be stronger and more accurate when mounted
on your steed, and weaker and less accurate when not mounted at all.
Many wounds can only be successfully given with a polearm when you are
mounted.

As you learn more in the art of being a Cavalier, so too will you learn
to predict the movements of your steed, allowing you the ability to stay
mounted even in unusual circumstances.
7406h, 7269m, 8395e, 10p, 25145en, 25145w elrxk<>-
CAVALIER - MANEUVERS

Syntax: MANEUVER CREATE
MANEUVER LIST
MANEUVER DROP
MANEUVER DEVELOP ACTION
MANEUVER DEVELOP WOUNDS
MANEUVER SHOW
MANEUVER PERFORM

You are now able to develop your own fighting maneuvers. You start with
being able to develop a limited amount of maneuvers and gradually
increase the number of maneuvers as your training in Combat and
Knighthood specializations increase. Each maneuver consists of two
variables: the action and the wounds. The action is the attack verb
(slash, smash, strike, etc.) that will be executed during the maneuver.
The wounds are a list of the specific wounds you are attempting to
inflict. (Please note that it does not determine if you are able to
execute the action or inflict the wound until you perform the maneuver.)

Syntax: TEND TO STEED

It is important to ensure that your steed is always in the best
condition for battle. By taking your time to care for your mount's body,
mind, and spirit, you can swell their health, mana, and ego beyond
normal limits.

CAVALIER - OBSTRUCTION

Syntax: STEED OBSTRUCT

Focus your steed's sights on a single player, harrying him to block that
person's escape. If the steed is successful, the person will find
themselves kicked to the ground and perhaps trampled, causing deep
wounds to their body.
7406h, 7269m, 8395e, 10p, 25145en, 25145w elrxk<>-

CAVALIER - OPENGUT

Bodypart: Gut
Minimum Wound State: Light
Maneuver: Jab, polearm
Mounted: No

One of the surest ways to hinder an opponent is to slice open their gut.
The bleeding from this wound may cause them to slip in their own blood.

CAVALIER - WARCRY

Syntax: WARCRY

Your warcry is now so powerful and intimidating that many creatures
attacking your allies will be forced to consider you their primary
target. You will not be able to produce a proper warcry while

devoted to their cause that your warcry will have no effect.

Bodypart: Chest
Minimum Wound State: Medium
Maneuver: Jab, polearm
Mounted: No

This maneuver will hack open the chest of your foe, causing them to
bleed directly from their chest cavity. This is not only messy, but the
