It also shows that Aetolia and Imperian are in the same boat despite have the serverside curing.
I also want to clarify that just because something should be challenging doesn't mean it has to be learned on their own. I think most people (if not everyone) will agree that the community of Lusternia is what makes it great, and there's nothing wrong asking for help and being guided through something.

So if there are any afflictions missing from the affmessages, they will be corrected as the underlying affliction code is rewritten.... and yeah, some of this requires that. It's a tedious process that I've been going through. A good number of afflictions are coded in the new manner to make this possible under-the-scenes.
It's going to be very usable and will respect hidden/not hidden affs.

As has been stated many times, the curing system in Aetolia and Imperian do not infact remove the "hazing". You still need a system to survive in combat. Only bashing is made easier now.
However "hazing" mentality exists on every level of the game. Not just combat, and not just in code. It's in the society of the game as a whole. The smaller the game, the more prevalent those attitudes become. It's just human behavior.

Some reason I'm not allowed to like posts... but Thank you for all the hard work. You have definitely made this game more likely for us "casual gamers" to play.

So, ah, is there anyway to disable AutoAid? Between causing me to double sip between it and M&M, it also doesn't seem to realize when I'm in SuspendedAnimation and keeps trying to sip Bromides. Which, hey, doesn't really bother me, except it spams the bromide sipping a good bit.

That's 'Curing' in Discipline. The command to turn it off is CURING OFF.

It's always good to keep the sipper turned on, but low... in case you get disconnected you have the hopes of it keeping you around until you're able to jump back in.
Enyalida2012-08-12 16:07:36
If it's causing problems with your sipper, you can also turn its thresholds down below your own ones. I do that when my connection is choppy.

I actually turn off the sipper in my system rather than the auto sipper. Mainly because the server is faster, and if there is lag or I get DC it keeps me alive.

Hmmm. Hadn't thought of that. I'll have to turn it back on, then.
