Just poking my head in for clarification: Hallifax allows its citizens to do whatever they want in the Undervault, but it's good to keep in mind that eventually we're probably going to be forced to align with the kephera, so there's the distant future threat of having to resolve that enemy status.

Undervault tunnels are where I primarily became a Demigod. Only stuck my head into the Illithoid after I hit Titan. I did Tosha until 85, though. Undervault tunnels are great, have about 300 mobs varying in levels. The only two real dangerous creatures down there are fishers and adorath, though mantekarr can overwhelm you in groups.

I'm sure it's been said, but the UV tunnels are always where I point people to hunt, unless they're a lower level.

Not necessarily; Glomdoring has no rule against hunting Illithoid, only the Nekotai do.

Most of us don't (we hate the kepheran more and the illithoid give us ways to put the bugs down more effectively), but it is an option.

Serenwilde doesn't have any sort of prohibition on the books about undervault hunting either, because we don't really care.

EDIT: I don't think anyone really cares that much about hunting them, per se. It's just doing the quests. A few guilds might bitch at you, provided they catch you.

You sure? Shofangi (supposedly) guild-enemy anyone they catch doing it, which would cause a few problems...

Though perhaps they just use it as an excuse to enemy Glom-folk, and don't apply it to certain other orgs. Such is always possible.

Observation - Icewynd is doable, so long as I avoid mounds, black winds, and snow phoenixes, and as long as I have a westwind/swiftwind demesne up. And it's fun hunting larva-pinatas.
