Turnus:

If a sec/undersec/security/protector doesn't have the rank and also feels like they can't recommend that person get favored to somebody that does have the rank, something is seriously wrong.

Don't think I've ever not favored somebody when it was recommended to me.

It's not so much not being able to get a favor as it is just convenient for the people around to be able to do it. I'd think, ideally, that all guild favors would have the same weight. It's not so much about who favors you, it's the fact that you did something good and deserve to be recognized for it. Currently, in the Shofangi, I don't think I've seen Wobou or Azus logged in since I joined a few weeks ago. I think I caught Elaradria once? I play some pretty varied times (mornings, afternoons, evenings depending on the day, PST) so I'd think I'd see 'em if they logged in. Advancement is something of an issue at the moment, since the highest GR I see logged on typically is rank 7. Granted, messages could be sent, guild favors could be given while I'm offline, etc., but it'd be much easier if a sec or undersec could just do it. Being able to be rewarded in the heat of the moment for something you did, rather than waiting for it to filter down, strikes me as a good thing and something that may make novices/new players strive to achieve those guild tasks that much faster.
