Moonhart Mother by Tristian
Merit for March 2005
I set to watching in the dark green leaves,
shrouded in the misty forest veil,
behind the mighty totem trees.
She loosened her emerald hair,
and collected secrets,
none could hear.
I am but a leaf,
spinning surreal,
on my journey to the ground.
A tear shed by her,
stranger still to be alive at all,
to land anywhere in endless descent.
Moonhart Mother,
You are the nothing that
is everywhere but here.
