1: I sing in the wind,
I laugh in the breeze.
I herald the autumn
and winter's white freeze.
My voice rings out chiming,
My form flashes shining.
What am I?

2: I cause celebration,
the mirth of a nation.
The queen wears her silver,
The lovers bless the water.
The children of the green
Shall rejoice in hallowed sheen
When I dawn.

3: Merry is my house,
and merry are my deeds.
The laughter flows
and so does the mead.
Fortune turns her wheel,
and I follow at her heel.
Come join me in my mirth -
But be careful with your purse.

4: Guarded by great gates
our high halls await.
Who knows what changes strife will bring?
All hail the north, and the high king.

5: Green and gold, I mean no harm.
I seek the sun, and the warm
fields of the valleys. Those who go
to lend me aid must have few foes.

6: Threads wind upon them,
fresh skeins for a tapestry.
Each new-spun strand an uncut gem,
waiting for aid, eager to see
this fresh new world.
What are they?

7: Hidden from the world,
to preserve and nurture
under mantle of the Green.
Long those leaves have unfurled,
the waters run, the seals shivered,
the sands danced. Balance reigns.

8: A towering strength of
justice is his, his task clear:
To watch over us on our roads,
so that the young and weak need have no fear.
Woe to us who stray from his gaze!
Sword and song are against us, lost in the maze
of a hostile land.

9: Threading through the ether,
there flows the unending water,
defying sight, defying flight.
Against this current I cannot fight;
let it take me where it goes - wherever -
or I shall be lost forever.

10: So much for riddles!
Now speak to me
of moonlight and rituals.
in the silence, free
to give aid where needed;
to lift shadow and blight
and return the silver light.
I could stay there forever.
