All I See by Sthai

Runner Up for February 2009

-All I See-

From the cities of shadows
To the bastion of Light.
From the Taint and the hunger,
To the dawning of day.
And casting off burdens,

My wrists are unchained,
Mine skin become mortal,
My mastery, changed.

Once I was the crimson and black,
Raised a finger, death to call.
Once I flew before the Iron Throne,
Now, grounded, I swim in streams,
And in the ocean - blue and gold,
And all, I see is glory -
All I see is Light.

-Lovesong to the Redeemed-

The Halls are gold, the wine is sweet,
Sweet roses are blooming in gardens fair.
The crystal halls are fine where we meet,
I see your fair skin, I scent your hair.

And what is this, death has no dominion,
Beneath the walls of white and silver.
We shall pledge our troth beneath the scion,
The Lord of Light - let the Tainted quiver.

Oh, my love, stand redeemed at my side,
Come with me, strong, be at my back.
Oh, sweet Argentia, be my pure, sweet bride,
You who called me, redeemed me, the Black.

-Judgement-

Mine is the sword,
Mine is the glory.
For the Supernals of Light,
In the shadows, in dark.
And mine is the power,
Given by angels,
To strike down the Tainted,
Man, woman, and child.

Here is the purity, beneath white walls.
Here is the judgment upon all the changed.
And here is my sword, sworn to avenge you,
Died and yet risen, companions in oath.

-All I See (Reprised)-

My mastery made, my crusade now is done.
And all I see is the light.
My knee is bent before the most Holy and bright.
And all I see is the light.
My sword, wt with blood, laid at their feet.
And all I see is the light.
My oath is done, their forms laid low,
And all I see is the light.
Argentia, crimson, before my side.
And all I see is the light.
My faith endured in purity and strength.
And all I see is the light.
The webs are woven, in form and figure.
And all I see is the light.
The spiders are crawling, deep in my veins.
And all I see, all I am...
Is the Light.
