Lunatic poetry by Aerotan

Merit for September 2009

'twixt Flake and bloom I ply my art
With 'nary a glance my way.
For they and I, I play my part,
So heed you now what I say.

For their protection, show the direction
Remind them of their tah'vrai
With verbal confection, show them perfection
And thus you shall save the fae.

From cold to warm you seek me out
'tis here where I shall play
Have faith in me, I have no doubt,
for Mother knows the way.

Hart he prances, but takes no chances
"Nor should he", does Grandmother say
When anyone glances, my savior dances
And keeps all the danger away.

While growing and reaping I watch my child
Who grows a bit every day
To my eye she seems so sweet and mild
And perfect in every way

But I watch all year, to assay her fear
Against all threats, come what may.
When danger draws near, my rage becomes clear
And keeps all our foes at bay.

To follow my steps, one must accept
The path of the Treefold way
And once you have leapt, and have become adept
It is to this course you must stay.

For we are as one, when day is done
And so too must you portray
When folly's undone, wisdom you've won
Which, so earned, will always stay.
