Ode to Aloldyne Blontine by Thul

Merit for February 2010

Here's to an adventurer,
The finest, so I'm told.
There's no merian as daring,
As adventurous, as bold.
Hail to young Aloldyne,
So bravely he goes forth,
And boldly takes a daring trip,
One island to the north.

Some would see the Plane of Earth
And its majestic slopes.
Some would see Celestia,
And drink in brilliant hopes.
Aloldyne can sate his want
A mere boat ride away.
But never to Itecia,
"There's danger," he would say.

And so, across Bondero,
Do I lead him by the hand,
Do I take him 'cross the water,
Do I guide him onto sand.
We pioneer past scrumhogs
(And a merian farmstead,)
And when he's finally satisfied,
I kaife him in the head.

I kaife him in the head, my friends,
I kaife him in the face.
I nekai choke the merian bloke
Like anyone of his race.
And once his body's cooling,
The blood running from his lids,
I'll turn him in to Gognigin
Along with six dead kids.

You'd think that he'd've learned by now,
The nature of my game.
He follows to Vesucia,
And always dies the same.
But he has not, for fifty years,
So I will wait, and then,
Me and bold young Aloldyne
Will venture out again.
