=====Scenes=====
Over looking Hallifax-
A frail railing is the only protection offered against a deadly plummet at this
walkway that offers an alluring view that beckons one close to the edge to
better enjoy the sight. The city below displays a glorious canvas of precise
angles and refracting crystal, a glorious sight in itself. To the north rise
majestic mountains, whose combination of shear rocky falls and snowy caps
creates an imposing sight.

The Martix-
Suspended by four bridges of transparent crystal, an enormous circular walkway
looks out over the crystalline structure of Hallifax. The walkway is made of
semi-translucent gemstone with handrails around both the inner and outer
circumference to prevent any unnecessary accidents. Though wispy clouds can be
seen to move around the crystalline towers of Hallifax, the cool air here is
only a gentle, serene breeze, as if the wind itself were tamed before the Nexus
of Power.

Kloclak’s lab-
Carefully divided into sections, this lab has several projects going on. Tubes
run across the room along the ceiling, taking various chemicals to the projects.
A thin layer of clouds covers the floor as well. The room itself is a relative
small room, kept at a cool temperature. In the centre of the room stands a table
housing the main project here. The project itself is hidden from view by the
clouds that cover the table, floating aimlessly in place.

Quaboshi’s Gallery-
This large open room has a number of medium size alcoves in the corners for
sculptures. Along the walls, hooks for paintings jet out. Lighting tracks along
the ceiling point towards the hooks, giving the perfect and proper light
anything hung here. Across to centre of the room, stands evenly space display
pillars. Lighting along the ceiling also points to the centre of the pillars
here. Allowing proper appearance of the works place.

Thilmin’s studio-
Perfectly kept, this garden studio has many flowers of the Basin. Complex water
systems keep the plants justly water. In each of the corners stands an elegant
statue made of solid air. Artist tables fill open spaces around the garden. Each
table holds a different work of art, each more beautiful than the last. Perfect
lighting seems to cover the ceiling, making this garden a beautiful display of
art and science.

=====Script=====
Scene opens with ‘over looking Hallifax’

Thilmin sighing: No matter how many times I look upon the city, nothing inspires
me anymore. I have created works of great beauty made from all things; crystal,
plants, clay, and even tried something with using solid air. However, despite
all this, I am not truly content that I have made a masterpiece that inspires
others…

Mindlessly looking out over the city, Thilmin ponders and thinks, running
through many possible ideas for his next creation. Moments past as he finally
starts to give up for the day, as he stands and starts to walk from the
platform, he perks up his head as he hears voices,

Voice1: I don’t know sister, the rumors are… Maybe the scientists will make
mo…
Voice2: But what if! A mirror like … would… Think of the possibility!
Voice1: Perhaps, but as we sisters… think and… only time will tell if su…
Voice2: Very well then.
Voices: To the glory of ….

The voices fade away, Thilmin smiles to the sky, whispering words of thanks as
he rushes off back to his studio.

Scene changes to Thilmin’s studio

Thilmin: I know now how to make the perfect creation that will inspire others.
Thilmin picking up a yellow crystal: Now to just find the perfect medium to make
this masterpiece.
Thilmin: Maybe I will use plants again, or clay. Sighing I think I will have to
be using a number of things. Maybe it’s time to take a trip to Kloclak

The scene changes to Kloclak’s lab

Kloclak: Ah, greetings friend Thilmin. How have you been, decided to give up
your art and become a scientist yet?
Thilmin: No, Kloclak, I haven’t. I’m actually here on a business trip of
sorts for my new work. I need a way combine crystal and plant as one, and
possible adding some form of air too.
Kloclak: Combining? ... You are making fossils?
Thilmin Glaring a bit at Kloclak: No, I’m not. I’m not sure what exactly you
would call it, or what it even is at this point. I’m only at the prep stage.
Art is not all ‘just throw things together’ as you seem to put it.
Kloclak walks around his lab, tapping and doing other various measurements on
the various project he seems to have going on, “Apparently so. Perhaps I could
give you something that would help.” Kloclak walks over to a shelf filled with
various vials of liquids, picking up a blue one and hands it to Thilmin.
Kloclak: That should make whatever you pour that substance on into, for the lack
of a better term, slime like allowing you to mold, or put whatever you want into
it. The object will harden back in five minutes after applying the liquid, you
can ‘reset’ this time by just applying more. However, the time does not go
more than five minutes.
Thilmin smiling: Thank you friend, This I think will help. Thilmin looks to the
centre of the room at the cloud covered table What is your project here, I have
always thought it was just a table of clouds, but now that I think about it, I
have never seen anything in here that didn’t serve a propose.
Kloclak: Perhaps another time from, or you can wait until it’s done like
everyone else.

Thilmin bows to his friend and leaves, walking back to his studio and placing
the vial aside for now. Thilmin heads out, enjoying the city and weather as he
walks towards the Matrix

Scene changes to the Matrix

Thilmin arrives at the Matrix and starts talking with some of the people here.
Moments pass as he is taking his mind off his work. A voice comes over the city
system.

“Greetings citizens of Hallifax! I am Quaboshl and I’m here to announce the
grand opening of my gallery within the city. I invite artists of Hallifax to
create their masterpieces as the most liked one will be on main display for all
to see for many years to come!”

Morsien comes in [to the Matrix]

Morsien laughing: Ah another chance to prove I’m one of the great artists of
this fine city.
Thilmin: Your work is not that great, Morsien
Morsien: Thilmin? Is that you? I thought you had left in shame for the last time
I make something better than you had.
Thilmin: Hardly, I will beat you this time, and you will even be inspired by my
work!
Morsien laughs: Good luck with that, I doubt anything especially that you make,
could inspire me to great lengths.
Thilmin: Just wait and see then…

Thilmin runs off back to his studio to start work on his creation, one that he
hopes will beat Morsien.

Scene change to the studio

Thilmin picks up the flask of liquid and several crystals along with a few plant
vines: Let’s see if Kloclak was honest and gave me something useful …

Thilmin places the items on the table, starting his work. Carefully pouring the
liquid on the crystal, his eyes widen in amazement as it slowly starts to melt
and leave a small cater in the middle. Quickly placing part of the plant vine in
there, the watches as minutes past as the crystal hardens back into its initial
state with the vine partly stuck inside.

Thilmin: It ….actually worked. Grinning Morsien won’t be winning this
contest. I will have the best work, and something that will inspires others for
times to come! But I’m going to need more… a lot more of this liquid

Scene change to Kloclak’s lab

Kloclak smirk: Came back for more science?
Thilmin: …Yes, I need to know how to make the liquid…and a name for it would
be nice.
Kloclak: See, Thilmin you would do better in a lab for science than making those
pretty things you do.

Kloclak takes out a piece of notebook paper and starts to write. A moments past
as the two talk about how Thilmin is a better scientist then an artist.

Thilmin: Thank you Kloclak, so the liquid is called … Crystliq? You and your
‘creative’ names…

Thilmin: Oh voices, return to me and gave me thoughts on to make the perfect
creation, one that everyone likes … whispering ‘and beats Morsien’

Several minutes past and Thilmin hears nothing. As he is leaving, the wind picks
up, Thilmin lifts his head to hear something but there is just the wind.
Depressed he returns to the studio garden and opens the window, allowing the
cool air inside. He proceeds to take care of his plants and various projects in
his studio. Thilmin starts to clear off a section to start making the Crystliq
as he prepares to start he looks towards the open window …

Voice1: Brother! Come bac…!
Voice2: Don’t worry Ka… He …
Voice1: I suppose … I just wish he would be….
Voice2: Don’t wor….A simple touch and car… enough…
Voice1: You’re right..
Voices: To the glory of….

As the wind calms Thilmin smiles and says ‘Now I know how to make the
inspiring creation that will be talked about for years to come.’ Thilmin goes
to a back corner of his studio. This area is completely free of the plants.
There Thilmin smiles as he reads the instructions to make the Crystliq.
Carefully measuring out the ingredients, he places them in the first flask of
the mixer.

The tubes and flasks flash particles of light as the parts mix and heat before
descending and cooling in the final bowl. Several minutes pass as Thilmin
continues to make the Crystliq before he lets it go on its own. He goes to the
small table next to the mixer. He draws out want seems to be a simple blood
circulatory system.

Thilmin: I hate the fact that Kloclak is probably right in the fact my science
is better than my artworks…

Hours pass that turns into a week as Thilmin works on his masterpiece

Scene changes to the gallery, the artists are there, all with their covered
works.

Morsien: Come to lose to me again Thilmin?
Thilmin: Morsien…Even you will be inspired by my work this evening.
Morsien: Doubtful. Nothing in this world could you make would. My work here will
be the winner and yet again, you will be at the bottom. Maybe you should go join
that Lucidian researcher friend of yours and leave beauty to the true artists.
Thilmin: Science has its place in art and beauty. In fact, I used it in my
creation if you must know…
Morsien: See, you can’t create master works without that science of yours. You
should leave the art world for one that would better suit your…work
Thilmin Just because my creations use another aspect of our great city makes its
less than yours?
Morsien: Your work is always will be less than mine is.

Quaboshl: Attention artists, it’s time to reveal your work, please proceed to
your own and unveil it for the coming people!

Each of the five artists here goes to the works and pulls of the sheet covering
it. People politely enter the room, nod to each other as they go from one work
to the next. Upon getting to Thilmin’s work, they all stop; even Morsien comes
over and looks at the work.

Thilmin smiling: Ladies and Gentlemen, I first must thank Quaboshl for this
wonderful gallery. Before you stands my greatest creation. It will inspire
anyone! Please, you madam, please come up and touch part of the crystal.

As the lady politely walks up to the creation, she reaches out her hand and
slowly touches the surface. Before everyone’s eyes, the creation also starts
to melt and move, as the vines inside the stone will the shape. A few moments
pass before forms into a beautiful whirlwind shape.

Thilmin smiling: As you can seem ladies and gentlemen, my work though the use
of science and natural beauty, the crystals around the vines shape to an object
the person who touches it enjoys. Please, someone else touch it.

A male human now walks to the rose and places his hands on the stem of the rose.
The creation starts to melt slowly, moving with plant like and small currents of
air swirling around it transforms into detailed molecule. The man smiles and
turns to Thilmin, giving praise to the work.

Morsien: Ha, impressive, but what if two people touch it? Does it get confused
and turn into a puddle?

As Morsien taunts, another person reaches out for the now molecule. Morsien
dashes towards the creation as well, placing her hands on it at the same time as
the other person. The creation melts a bit more than normal. Morsien smiles at
it before it starts to reform, her smile turns into an open mouth of awe. The
creation forms into a perfect union of two thoughts, two desires. One of a great
winged bird and a great statue of a pantheon

Morsien: I don’t believe it…It’s impossible! You are not this great of an
artist!

Quaboshl: I think that is enough. I believe we are aware who the best artist
here is today. Congratulations Artist Thilmin, your work shall be displayed for
all to see and witness its beauty!

As the people file out, Kloclak comes in and walks towards Thilmin who is
talking with Morsien.

Morsien: I don’t believe it, but you did it. You created exactly what you said
you did…
Thilmin: Aye, I did. However, this wasn’t a contest for the best art. I wanted
to make something that could inspire others to make or even research things they
enjoy.
Morsien: Maybe we should try … being friends and working on art together.
Thilmin: Perhaps one day we could, Morsien, but at this time, I think I would
need someone who understands science and that it can have a place in art.

Kloclak: Thilmin, repeatedly you prove you have great knowledge in the sciences.
You mix that with your art and creation beautiful and great things. As always,
the science community has a place for you. You should see about joining it, but
also saying in the art world.
Thilmin: Maybe I will one day, impressing you could be the first tasks. I could
show you the notes on my creation…I know what is why you were here, always for
the science first before you friends.
Kloclak: That would be nice, but you are wrong. I came to see your work, as well
as the others.

Kloclak walks to the creation, smiling, and places his hands on it. The creation
reacts as normal and reforms into a beautiful and detailed rose. He smiles as he
turns to Morsien. He turns to Thilmin and also smiles and nods at him.

Kloclak: May your future hold the beauty of the rose as well. It may be changing
for the better in more ways than you think.

The stage darkens all around except for the lighting point down at the rose.
