Flooding Skies by Kyair

Winner for March 2011

He who wets the earth with tears shall reap joy.
Filling the sky with pockets of windswept dust,
He gives His eternal admiration to the trees.
They who sway in gale,
praise song to He who weeps.
Swelling over the dirt,
these puddles form,
their reflection but a reminder of this building pain.
The sorrow glistens as the drops fall from high in the sky.
Swallowing and consuming His pain,
the puddles release Him.
Creatures far and wide crawl beneath the shelter of home.
The prayers silently spoken are heard to He who cries,
and with the wave of His mighty hand,
these tears of sadness slow.
They who soothed Him bring smiles,
that stretch across the heavens.
Once more, He rests in peace for they.
Nature, bound to He who sobs, is refreshed.
Again, She is moved and changed,
ever thankful to He who wets the earth with tears.
