Moon Nymph by Jillory
Merit for November 2012
Sea-nymph living in Moon Lake,
heart full of the lake,
eyes full of the stars.
Singing low,
so soft and slow,
singing me the sand,
and singing me a yellow moon
beneath the afternoon.
You sing my bones so heavy,
you sing my hair so red,
you sing the chilly wind
and the sand into my bed.
Nymph, O Nymph, sing me hills,
sing me water, sing me air,
sing yourself in me.
And while I sleep as you
you sing a wakeful pixie there.
