Gentle flowing water by Miralune

Merit for December 2014

 

Gentle flowing water in a calmly moving stream

what a soothing sight for my eyes to have seen.
Millions of droplets going down to the Moon Lake
ever going onwards and never their bond to break.
It is the sight of this that makes my heart so glad
to have to leave this behind would indeed be most sad.
It is in the flow that we recognize the commune of the 'wilde
the unbroken bond between father, mother and child.
It is in the steadiness that we see our resolve
a determination that no enemy can ever dissolve.
It is in the water that we see the root of life
nurturing and healing and so free of strife.
If the going gets hard then consider this wondrous sight
and know you have the power to overcome each plight.
For when we are continuous and endeavour to persevere
we too shall reach greatness just like the water here.
