An Aetherspace "Sea Song" Honoring the Navigator by Selenity
Merit for January 2015
You ever see a black dragon, asail?
Or a glittering starbeast?
Careful, should be, in the aetheric sea
Lest you become deceased!
Cardinal points are a suggestion
Remember: steer clear the Void
You don't want your ship blown to smithereens
Or yourself to be destroyed!
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm, pilot!
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm!
Space's the only home you can roam
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm!
Sectioned off are lands to be explored
The last port is far astern
Islands in the aether, bubbles safe, still
Dock once, leave; later, return
There is no rush, save your own ambition
To explore between the planes
Much to see, more to learn, but take your time:
Aetherspace is your domain!
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm, pilot!
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm!
Space's the only home you can roam
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm!
Though your ship is easily harmed by beasts
Don't allow yourself to fret
There are scarier things in the aethers
And far more frightening threats
Hold onto hope, sail with confidence, strength
You must be lost to be found
Map the way, Guiding Star for future lost
And your feats will be renowned!
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm, pilot!
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm!
Space's the only home you can roam
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm!
Where you're sailing, going, who the Nil knows?
Trust yourself, your heart, your soul
Who knows what you'll find within, without?
You know your Star, your goal
Where you've gone, ink upon the map you make
Chart the courses to be tread
Adventures untold await your finding
Go on with full speed ahead!
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm, pilot!
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm!
Space's the only home you can roam
Sail the aethers, grab the Helm!
