A Clash in Lapping Waves -12 Roarkian, 673 CE- He builds his castle in the sand, stakes flags on tower mounds, and in his magnanimity, leaves driftwood drawbridge down. He stands with back to sparkling shore, surveys his majesty, and when the tide comes rolling in, his tears go to the sea. He sees a clash in lapping waves, deems Toronada weak, and sets off for the other side, for fairness he would mete. He marches into kestrel land, decrying tidal source, and taking ancient castle stone, dams river running north. He claims black tower as his own, hangs flags from parapets, and in his magnanimity, takes steward's recompense. He watches earthwork overcome, the river spilling free, and when krokani see him out, his tears go to the sea.
