23.5 ACTION LINE CUSTOMISATIONS
An action line customisation changes the lines associated with using an artifact. See HELP ITEM CUSTOMISATION for pricing. To request an action line customisation, you should email support@lusternia.com with the name and ID number of the artifact you are customising. Please also include what type of artifact it is, for clarity, especially if you have already customised the item's description. Then, include the action lines for the relevant artifact as listed below. See HELP CUSTOMISATIONS for more information on the general rules and the process itself and HELP CUSTOMISATION EXAMPLES for examples of what your submission should contain. GENERAL RULES ------------- - action lines must make sense for the artifact you are customising* - action lines cannot seem to do anything but the artifact's base function - action lines should not claim to call on powers players do not possess - gnome weapon witness line should be no longer than 300 characters * This covers everything from a divinus whip not doing poison damage, to a mechanical dog gnome weapon not meowing as it shoots damage. GNOME WEAPONS ------------- The lines should fit the possibilities of gnome weapon technology. You should include lines seen by the caster and witnesses. The following must also be included: - $(object$) - which represents the short description of the gnomeweapon - $(type$) - which represents the current damage type of the gnomeweapon - This will populate with one or more of the following based on type: - bursts of steam (neutral) - iron spikes (cutting) - balls of steel (blunt) - coruscating waves (magical) - lightning bolts (electric) - streams of fire (fire) - spears of ice (cold) - suffocating fumes (asphyx) - toxic clouds (poison) - rainbow ribbons (psychic) - beams of holy light (divinus) - waves of darkness (excoro) - $(name$) - which represents the artifact user's name. Use $(him$) $(he$) and $(his$) for their pronouns. - $(lname$) - which represents the short description of the target. Use $(lhim$) $(lhe$) and $(lhis$) for their pronouns. NOSES ----- You should include lines seen by the caster and witnesses. The following must also be included: - $(object$) - which represents the short description of the nose - $(name$) - which represents the artifact user's name. Use $(him$) $(he$) and $(his$) for their pronouns. WHIPS ----- The lines should fit the type of damage that the whip uses inherently. You should include lines seen by the caster, target, and witnesses. The following must also be included: - $(object$) - which represents the short description of the whip - $(name$) - which represents the artifact user's name. Use $(him$) $(he$) and $(his$) for their pronouns. - $(lname$) - which represents the short description/name of the target. Use $(lhim$) $(lhe$) and $(lhis$) for their pronouns. MANSE KNOCKERS -------------- You should include a total of three lines: line seen by the caster, line seen by the witnesses, and finally the manse-wide announcement. The following must also be included: - $(object$) - which represents the short description of the knocker or bell. - $(name$) - which represents the artifact user's name. Use $(him$) $(he$) and $(his$) for their pronouns.
