12.2.11.3 THE CLOUD MAELSTROM

The cloud maelstrom is an enormous, perpetually churning mass of clouds, the centre of which is rumoured to hold an ancient artifact. It swirls over the entire Iceburn Plains and its edges are defined by the Icewynd Mountains. Inhabiting the cloud maelstrom are cloud mantas and ice phoenixes. One of the Icewynd trill tribes is also rumoured to harvest cloudberries in this region.
