17.9.1 THEATERS: STAGE MANAGER
Stage Managers are people who are able to create and delete productions. The owners of the stage are always stage managers. In addition, the owners can appoint other people as stage managers as follows: STAGE MANAGERS LIST STAGE MANAGERS ADD <name> STAGE MANAGERS REMOVE <name> This will replace the current list of stage managers, not add to it! If you want to view the list, check STAGE STATUS All stage managing (as well as directing and acting) are done from backstage. While at the stage, STAGE BACKSTAGE will take you there. (Using this to get out of a combat is forbidden.) Here are the commands used from backstage to create, manipulate, and delete productions: BACKSTAGE LIST: Get a list of all productions associated with this stage. If one is currently selected, it will be indicated with an asterisk (*). BACKSTAGE CREATE <title>: Create a new production. The title cannot be changed later, so type carefully. The production will be selected for editing automatically. BACKSTAGE SELECT <title>: Select a production for editing or performing. You can also supply the production number instead of the title. BACKSTAGE RESET: Resets the stage so that no production is selected for editing or performing. It's a good idea to do this when you're done, to prevent an inadverdent change in the production. BACKSTAGE DELETE <title>: Delete a production. You may not delete the one currently selected, so you may have to BACKSTAGE RESET first. You will be given a summary of the production and asked to AGREE to delete it. Deleted productions are gone forever! BACKSTAGE STATUS: Summarize the status of the current production. BACKSTAGE DIRECTOR <name>: Appoint a director to a production. The director is the person who will set up and run that production. Being the director of one production doesn't give you any authority over any other production.
