In the throes of the Great Hunt, the harp of the Elder God Lyreth
appeared above Avechna's Peak. With a great explosion of incandescent
light, the harp vanished, releasing a flock of lyrebirds that fluttered
about to settle all across the Basin. Sylandra Skyplume and Shulamit
Lunarose hearkened to the Sidereal Prince's Fulcrux in hopes of
discovering the reason for their appearance, but it was Phoebus Skyplume
who noticed the first lyrebird winging its way about the spires of
Hallifax.

After much deliberation, Phoebus discovered the method by which the
lyrebirds could be made to follow, while Sylandra recalled a recurring
dream in which she had led lyrebirds to a waterfall. Quickly enlisting
the assistance of Anisu ri'Tou, Aloysha La'Saet, and Eliron Inseira, the
group set about gathering lyrebirds from far and wide, assembling them
to sing before the waterfall at the source of the Estengare River.

Many melodies caused the very rock behind the falls to shift and give
way to a hidden grotto, containing the way to the gardens and springs
surrounding the Temple of the Sidereal Prince, revealed at last to the
Basin of Life. What wonders lie within may be known to those whose free
spirits draw them through the waterfall.
