That maverick captive Fritz Moonpie continued to bravely elude the grasp
of his prison guards long enough to share more information he gathered.
This time, Fritz said, it was his Aunt Ernestine - oh, no, it wasn't, it
was something he'd heard about an icebox, and keeping someone or
something on ice. Before he could elaborate, he signed off in a burst of
static, as no doubt someone from the dastardly Gnafia was almost upon
him.

Not to be deterred, intrepid explorers from all walks of life quickly
travelled to the aetherbubble of Frosticia - an icebox if there ever was
one - only to find that Max Coldsteel and his Protectorate flunkies had
overrun the area despite the attempts of Mister Frostono and Count
Coldmore to expand their dwellings. The Gnafia were currently harassing
whomever they could reach, but adventurers were having none of it.

In a flurry of motion, Ragniliff slew Max Coldsteel before he could do
any serious damage to the innocent Mister Frostono, only to curse
moments later when Coldsteel himself could be heard yelling in triumph,
mocking the adventurers for being so easily duped by a simple body
double. Duly chastened, the adventurers went to profess his superiority,
and assaulted him with such ferocity that he had no choice but to flee a
second time. After Xenthos and his compatriots dispatched the remainder
of the Protectorate goons, Mister Frostono appealed for help, which the
group was all too happy to give.

Startling facts concerning the history of the ice lords and snowpeople
unfolded before the astonished adventurers as assistance was rendered to
Mister Frostono. Eventually, Execumatrix Magnificus Ileein opened the
way into the massive glacier north of the settlements upon Frosticia,
revealing the form of the missing Jolly Bundy, trapped in a solid block
of ice!

As Ridley, Tulemrah, Phoebus, Xenthos, and others followed Ileein as he
set to work under the directives of Count Coldmore and Mister Frostono,
the two men rebuffed the queries of Iytha, Vuris, Maythus, and Daedroth,
who stood nearby in fits of pique as the Hallifaxians and their allies
progressed.

After much effort, Ileein completed the Snowflake of Snoefaasia, the
greatest of Frosticia's treasures, and used it to free Jolly Bundy at
last! Out of his icy prison, the happy gnome quickly vanished with a Ho!
Ho! Ho!, once more letting his cheerful friends descend upon the Basin
of Life with gifts for one and all.

Ileein, however, divested himself of the magnificent Snowflake before
allowing Count Coldmore or Mister Frostono a chance to speak. Though the
two begrudging allies were satisfied, the full potential of the
Snowflake remains to be seen...
