There was a break-in last night at the Kiakoda Reserve! We are sorry to report that assailant(s) unknown broke into the Reserve and ransacked a private nursery which was off limits to the public at large. Several baby squirrels were stolen from the nursery, and the damage rendered the nursery beyond repair.

If anyone has any information leading to the identification or capture of the assailant(s), or to the recovery and rehoming of the squirrels, please submit a post to this news board. Kiakoda Reserve will keep an eye on any relevant posts and reach out as necessary.
