As the Seal of Life weakened, furrikin from around the Basin of Life
began to fall sick with a variety of diseases. Avechna called
Lusternians before Him and urged them to help heal the furrikin, and in
doing so, strengthen the Seal of Life. Although numerous conscientious
Lusternians fanned out all over the Basin of Life to help the furrikins
live on, a few, such as Revan n'Kylbar, chose to end their lives
instead.

In the end, Krellan of Serenwilde, by healing the most furrikin, became
the Bearer of the Seal of Life. Following him in second place are
Xenthos and Vathael, and in third place are Malicia and Ciban. Fourth
place went to Tervic, and fifth place to Rika.
