There was a problem (now corrected) with the Facebook application, such
that if you went to apps.facebook.com/ironrealmsalerts/, you may have
been able to sign in with your characters without actually installing
the application. This means that no updates are being sent to your news
feed, and also that you are not getting the xp bonus.

If you notice that you are not getting any updates, please (re)install
the app at http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=8603231588

Note that going to the apps.facebook.com/ironrealmsalerts/ page will now
redirect you to the proper page if you do not have the app installed, so
this won't be a problem in the future.

I apologise for any inconvenience this causes you!

On another note, there have been some complaints that we are spinning
the Facebook app as not benefiting Lusternia while not-so-secretly using
it as a marketing tool. I would like to clarify that this has never been
our intent. I think it's pretty obvious to everyone that the Facebook
app is a potentially great marketing tool for Lusternia (in addition to
being a cool way to update your friends on what your characters are
accomplishing in-game), and I never felt that we are trying to pull the
wool over anyone's eyes in that regard. You have my sincere apology if
you felt that we have been deceptive in this approach. I do hope that
the app will help to bring in new players who see the updates and want
to know more about the game, since new players enrich our shared game
world and help us to expand our existing community.
