The Arysian Isles have been broken apart into three separate areas:
Nyalia, Vesucia, and Itecia.

With this, the merians of Nyalia are now loyal to that island, which is
considered their territory. Similarly, the gorgogs of Itecia are loyal
to the gorgog nation, which owns that isle. Vesucia is neutral, and
controlled by neither side.

The aggressive gorgogs that wander the seas are not loyal to either side
(being rather mindless).

Be warned that the Avenger will not protect those enemies of the merians
upon Nyalia, and enemies of the gorgogs upon Itecia.
