We have completed extensive changes to both existing organizational
constructs and skills that mitigate experience loss. Here is a brief
summary of the changes:
= XP-Loss Skills =
- Overall -
- All skills that previously rendered one immune from experience loss
now cost experience.
- The Avenger will now give suspect if someone dies with one of
these skills.
- Lich -
- Necromancers with Lichdom can now give lichdom to others. See
AB NECROMANCY LICHDOM for more information.
- Magnagorans with Lichseed can EMBRACE UNDEATH to become a lich
and gain its benefits without losing experience.
- Archliches are now simply liches who have the actual skill.
- Transmigrate -
- If not in the same area as your animal, you will reform where
your soul is rather than returning to the pet.
- The power cost of Rebirth and Deepbond have each been lowered.
- Pets now each have two unique bonuses. For details, see
AB ECOLOGY TRANSMIGRATION.
- Killing the pet will no longer kill the ecologist, but will still
do damage and afflict.
- Darkrebirth -
- Will be able to make eggs for others (like the Crow Nest construct).
See AB CROW DARKREBIRTH for more information.
- Only owners can break eggs.
- Demigods -
- Phoenix is now voluntary and is not forced. PHOENIX to phoenix.
Be warned, just like with normal death, you will start to lose
essence if you run out of mana.
- Demigod and ascendant death will now immediately cost 50,000
essence. Can be resurrected, sacrificed, resurgemed, lich, etc.
- Vitae is now usable by demigods, though one will lose a bit more
than if simply dying and being immolated.
= Construct-related Changes =
- All -
- New powers. If you have the privilege, they are listed in
CITY/COMMUNE CONSTRUCTS.
- Serenwilde -
- Resurgem now is usable on anyone for a cost of 10p.
- Resurgem is still free for Stag and Moon users.
- Glomdoring -
- Crow Nest has been removed, its main effect moved to the
DarkRebirth skill as mentioned earlier.
Thank you to the player-run special committee that helped formulate
construct change ideas.
Enjoy!
